Some opinions are a bit predictable and what I'd expect, like Goseiger being last by default and IMO Kyoryuger being overrated (sorry but I just found the feel of that show offputting even if I wasn't that big on Go-Busters either! :p) but I'm surprised Ninninger did so badly seeing as I seem to be the only one that doesn't like Kyoryuger but does like Ninninger! I'm impressed to see Toqger enter the top 5 though, that was among my favourites!

Well I've liked the series from Hurricane Ranger forward.
I recently finished Go Busters which triggers my power Rangers problem thus the switch over full time. To Qu , Zyu Oh , Kyu Ranger and Lu Pat had gotten skipped by Hasbro and Saban. I will be finishing these 4 shows which will off set for having been skipped by the USA for adaptions. that's the second reason for the change over. Hasbro is likely to skip again in 2023 which if that's the case they may go straight to Zen Kai Ranger as it's the 45th which would really tick me off as I was hoping Kira Mage would get adapted. This would be a wasted opportunity by Hasbro. |

Toqger definitely seems to be one of those shows that either overcame initial unpopularity, or the dislikers for it were just a loud minority to begin with. It definitely seems to get a lot of love from all corners of the fandom these days whenever it's brought up, I find! I've even had multiple people have it as their first Sentai and love the franchise from that point forward

ToQger was so great. I hope Toei gives the Train motif another go. I think it was just a very divisive show all around- the suits, the lead, the plot, the mecha. Everyone seems to have an opinion on it.
You really can't underestimate the appeal of trains! Maybe Dinosaur + Trains will be the next big thing! The Shinkalion anime series which focuses entirely on trains continues to be one of the hottest franchises in Japan. Also Den-O is still popular and the Den-Liner even made it onto the latest Senki poster! Trains! |
Admittedly, I went into watching ToQger with very little expectations, like I did with Goseiger and Go-Busters before it, but I can definitely say that I’m glad that I watched this series and a lot of the show is surprisingly well-done. I even watched the one-hour spring break crossover special they had with Kamen Rider Gaim which I find to be very enjoyable.

Well, I guess one thing to go by this is that Psychic Lover is GOAT having taken the first and second place slots within the top 10. Personally a shame Time Fire's theme did not make it.

Saw the last several episodes of Liveman, and I'm not sure if this was the right way to end that series!
Spoilers follow! I still don't know how Kemp's brain can be harvested and still leave the body intact and conscious while having the brain express itself later on. The finale episode ended so weirdly with no real conclusion or fate for the team and I still don't have a good answer as to who or what Bias truly is. It doesn't seem like the team ever fully realized who Bias is. I must have missed something somewhere. Everything felt pretty standard in the last episode with nothing really shocking happening. Gush had more focus than Bias! As good as much of the series is, this felt rather flat. |
