Anyway, I went with Double. I love G3-X, but between Double's greater power and popularity, this is going to be a curbstomping.

W's popularity is the real reason he'll win but I will also vote for G3. As a detective/police officer I don't feel like there's a comparison. Hikawa stomps Shotaro/Phillip in that area.

Poor G3-X struggles with his monsters. Image the grief he'd deal with when dealing with the modular Double. Luna Metal can disarm his weapons, Heat Joker can do great damage to his armor, and let's not ignore the danger of Cyclone Trigger blowing him away or into positions that can enable Double to combo him.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who remembers Scissors was a cop :lol. Anyway, I vote for Double. I just don't think G3-X could keep up with Double.

GX-3 vs Scissors...THAT I would like to see...Idealism vs Corruption...the weapons would be ideal to keep the mirror monster away, and then break out the knife for close combat...finally Scissors would kick him away for the Final Vent and then GX snipes the Advent deck because he uses his keen sense of deduction to see it is the source of the powers. Once again, Scissors will never make the grade...

Solving the mystery is more of a group thing in early Heisei. The day is saved because everybody helped, not because Hikawa was the one that solved it. Phillip, on the other hand, is a walking deus ex machina device. He has all the answers.

Agian, Hikawa is more realistic while Shotaro/Phillip are plain out super heroes (well, Phillip at least). It's hard to make this a fair fight and only proves just how many balancing issues there are in Kamen Rider. Thankfully there's not a fighting game where that'd be a problem...oh. Nevermind.

PS G3-X vs Accel would be a good fight until Accel broke out Trail.

Neither, G3-X vs Accel. Both are Police Detectives and are fairly even in skill and abilities. Accel would still probably win if he can pull off using Trial on G3-X, but it'd be a good fight.

PS Also neither because Showa Riders are pretty meh and Scissors is kind of lame. :p

I think Showa is superior to Heisei, in terms of character strength.
They've been making it a point to show how some of the more recent Heisei characters aren't fighters (Such as Gen or Wataru), poor fighters (Like Shinji or Tsukasa), or place too much reliance on some other force (Such as Shotaro pretty much needing Philip's intelligence or Kagami needing Tendou's help every now and then).

For the next poll I wouldn't mind seeing something like V3 vs. Black RX vs. Agito; battle of the Riders whose shows are (at least somewhat) direct sequels.

I think there's only 1 or 2 comments in the first few episodes that people say shows they are connected. It it VERY LOOSELY connected.

Hence the "somewhat."

They specifically mention it's been 2 years since No. 4 (Kuuga) defeated the Unidentified Lifeforms (Grongi), that a UL hasn't appeared since, that G3 was made to combat the ULs if they ever return, and they compare Agito's powers to No. 4's powers. It's intended to be in the same continuty.

All Showa Riders are connected directly. Kuuga and Agito are connected by dialogue. Ryuki-Kiva are stand alones. Here's where it gets fun. Decade has a multiverse of other versions of all Riders where none of them are connected. The Sen-O world is THE Den-O, however. Meanwhile, Black and Black RX are 2 different characters even though it's the same guy (and even the original actor!).

Confused yet? Yeah? Good, there's more. W started a new continuity with Foundation X intended to link the shows as a new enemy for all Riders (like Shocker in the Showa era). This continuity, if you consider Let's Go Kamen Rider to happen on this timeline, uses everything as canon. Even Decade and his multiverse of confusing crap.

Btw, much like Transformers continuity, this is all debatable because there's no offical continuity. The only things we can say for sure is that all Showa Riders are connected to each other and that everything from W onward is connected to each other. And some people would even debate that.

PS Super Sentai is only one continuity as every series mets the last series in crossovers, though that didn't become the norm until the 90's. Plus, Gokaiger united them anyways.

At the end of the series, when the main Riders come telling Tsukasa he f*cked up? Those were the originals, not the AU Riders.

Not in Decade and they both appear in Let's Go, so it's only the same guy in the original Showa continuity. Of course Let's Go already had about a dozen paradoxes in effect, so we could probably say he's fighting alongside himself.

Well yeah, we can tell it's supposed to be the originals.

The original Blade transformed to fight, and he was an ally to the original Kiva. The only one who charged at him in the finale that wasn't the original rider was Yuusuke Onodera, who was the Kuuga in Decade.

Plus the whole- Apollo Geist destroying all the other AR worlds, and Decade defeating him destroyed Kiva and Hibiki's AR worlds.

Black and Black RX side by side in Decade is immediately explained 10 seconds earlier in the scene when Diend summons Black through the Black card Decade had gotten 5 seconds before that.
Black RX is a direct sequel in Black.
The dual henshin in Decade was just there to make Decade a series worth watching.

In Let's Go, it was explained that the memory of the Rider is what brought them to life, regardless of character. It explained how Riderman (Who I believe died in V3) was there too.
To some, Black was the hero they looked up to, to others, it was RX. It wasn't the man behind the mask, but the mask itself.

And yes, it was explained by the real Blade that the gathering of Riders were the originals (I believe).

You know what? A Wizard did not do this. A wizard would be better writing. God I hate Decade. He ruins everything. In my book, we should just forget Decade ever happened.

I voted W because he has options. And adaptation, in nature or Kamen Rider, leads to survival. Plus W lead to the best SiC I've ever seen. So that has to count for something, right?

I'm pretty sure the storyline of Kamen Rider Decade was that Decade had to travel to a bunch of parallel Earths and do stuff in them to prevent them all from combining into one, which would destroy all of the alternate Riders of the AU Worlds. Since we've brought in alternate realities, String Theory dictates that the World Of Den-O can exist and still have the exact same timeline as Kamen Rider Den-O, while still having the events of Den-O take place in the mainstream universe. You wanna know something that'll blow your mind? According to String Theory, since there are an infinite number of possibilities, and each of these infinite possibilities occupy a universe, the EXACT events of Decade is the reality of an infinite number of "alternate" realities. The same is true with every single piece of fiction that has been created or has yet to be created.

And if Ryuki andKiva were stand-alones, than why did Ryuki have a dream where he teamed up with Agito, or Kiva have a crossover with Den-O?
