Playing some League of Legends. Trying to get out of Bronze and move up to Silver.

What the Burton movie was to wiping away the campy mess that was the 60's Batman, we need another "Break the Bat" moment that shows he's not the unbeatable god he's presented as now. I've heard that DC has been trying recently to remove that mentality in his comics, but I just hope to see that mentality be removed from Batman media outside of comics. Oh, and I've been playing LoZ: The Minish Cap. Pretty fun. |

My brother is forcing me to play Earthbound, i don't see why this game is so beloved.

Quite literally. If you can't see why people liked it, you just don't get it. |

It's hate stems from it's popularity, simple. "But it's just the same game over and over." If I said the same about Pokemon, Zelda, or God of War, you'd flip your shit and argue against me. At this point, I'm dead certain the hate it receives is solely because it's the popular target to hate on. |

I understand that the new release every year thing can wear thin, but Assassin's Creed has been following that MO and only just now has anyone begun to have issue with it. |

Call of Duty is the example of the problem with some franchises right now. Screw/Attack on Youtube said it best. Every new installment has minor improvements to multiplayer, sometimes only two new maps, and ever-shrinking Campaign mode. I used to love CoD's story. Modern Combat 1-3 especially, and Black Ops 1-2 was just fun. But 2 was far to short, and the focus on a multiplayer I have no interest in? Mreh.
|
I have gone off Call of Duty because I am bad at it. Though my friend keeps saying I should get the new game out this year

For what was once a respectable series, isn't it sad that the mere mention of Call of Duty has become a punch line in and of itself?

I got annoyed with Mass Effect 3's fetch quests so I took a break and started a Renegade/Male Shepard play through on ME2.

You're taking Call of Duty at face value and presenting a vapid interpretation that "The games play similar, so they're the same." |

Hey i just noticed, they didn't edit Xygbars weapon in KH3D. Neat.

Moving this here.
I know the world of Fallout is mostly empty. You can walk for almost one half hour straight and not run into anything in the wastland worth noting. But to me that's part of the fun. The absolute second I'm free of the Valut I start exploring. Leveling up. One play through I didn't even enter Megaton until I was level thirty five to start the story. There's so much to see and do it's incredible. But I also understand why it might turn some people off. |
Just beat Sora's story in KH3D, afterwards i went into the theater mode and put the credits so it feels like i acomplished something i lowered the volume and put Simple and clean on Youtube.

Mass Effect 3: I'm only a few missions from the end and I'm worried about my War Assets. I've done a ton of fetch quests, scanned star systems and did all the N7 missions and my Effective Assets are still less then 3000...
|
Talking to Locke and I had a thought. Bioshock Infinite has it's first DLC coming soon called Clash in the Clouds. Just typical Mindless Combat with no to little narrative aside from why you're doing Mindless Combat. And I hope the reason that we're getting this first is because it was easy, and that gave them much more time to focus on the next bit of DLC. Which is Story Driven, takes you back to the ruins of Rapture, and should be excellent.
|
Did some more exploring on the galaxy map, turned in a few more side quests and my Effective War Assets are only around 2600. I read on Bioware's forum that you need 3100 to get the "best" ending.

Finally got The Old Republic a few weeks ago and was playing through it for a bit with a friend, but had to stop because work kept getting in the way. Learned last night that he went and did a good deal with another friend, so guess I'm doing some catch up tonight!
Edit: After this patch I missed the other day finishes downloading, that is... |
I was bored so i started KH RE:Coded, despite the hate this game gets i really like it.

I'm playing a PS1 game from 11 years ago, Gundam: Battle Assault 2.
I love this game, I really wish it could have gotten a proper sequel (Battle Assault 3 Featuring Gundam SEED is not a sequel). Also, while I love Fighters, one thing I hate is unlocking characters. BA2 starts you with 12 characters (4 from G (God/Burning, Dragon, Rose, Maxter), 4 from Wing (Wing Zero Custom, Sandrock Custom, Deathscythe Hell, and Altron), and 4 from UC (RX-78, Sazabi, Nu Gundam, and Zaku II)), which is decent, but it makes you unlock SO MANY OTHERS (Acguy, Ball, the Big-Zam, Bolt, Dark/Devil, Zaku IIS, ZZ, Epyon, GP0-2A, Heavy Arms Custom, Hygoog, Master, Neue Ziel, Quin Mantha, Tallgeese III, Zeong, and the game only Psycho Gundam). 18 characters to unlock...I hate grinding. |
