Looks like I might have to pick up a DVR, the first episode of fusion was entertaining and definitely felt adventure-ish.

I'm looking up the voices of the cast of Digimon fusion. This is pretty neat.

The voice of Christopher Aonuma/Kiriha Aonuma is freaking Vic mingogna.

The voice of Angie Hinomoto/Akari Hinomoto is the current voice of Charmy bee.

the voice of Jeremy Tsurgi/Zenjirou Tsurugi is the voice of Ken from Digimon Adventure 2 so it's confirmed we'll hear hi's voice during Hunters.

The voice of Nene was Gaz in Invader zim, i knew that voice was familliar.

And the voice of Mikey was on NFL Rush zone.

I thought nene was the same VA as Tamers main female withe the renamon also don't remember men being in hunters or for that Mayer having a speaking roll I do remember Davis does though. Ok so we have uhryuu ishda from bleach VA doing Jeremy and nene is voiced by rika from Tamers

So I just checked out Digimon Fusion. All in all, it looks promising. Needless to say it's a much better dub than I expected it to be. Not as good as Tamers and Data Squad, but not bad.

Also checked out the first episode of Fusion.

Gotta say, Shoutmon's English voice over was very good. The energy he put into calling out attack names was great.

So, I'm going to break the discussion of Fusion and talk abotu what I'm doing, lol!

I've been re-watching the subbed Digimon Tamers with my brother and partner and it is just perfect. I seriously can not love a cartoon more then I love Tamers. The story, the heroes, the villains, the Digimon, everything is just written so amazingly well, it's hard to put into words. Digimon has always been fun, but none of the series have really stood out as "great", but Tamers is different. It transcends what a Saturday morning cartoon is and just everything about it is just... Right. It's so mature and dark and fun and goofy and heart-warming and depressing all at the same time. It's just SO BRILLIANT. I love it so much, re-watching it is just an absolute joy. I wish there were more cartoons that culd even come close to how well-written Tamers is.

Tamers is amazing. It's the sole reason why I call myself a Digimon fan, and I desperately wish for another series to capture it's charm, it's story telling, it's maturity. It didn't talk down to the audience, it made death have impact by doing away with the Primary Village, by not being set in the Digital World for 90% of the series, it wasn't completely fucking stupid.

I love Digimon Tamers.

Watched the second episode of Fusion, i think Dorulumon is voiced by Steve blum. And i like how Jeremy is relating Digiworld with a video game.

Digimon Fusion episode 3, other than introducing Chris and X4 this felt like filler. Jeremy comparing the Digital World to a video game is starting to get annoying, i hope he doesn't keep doing that all the way throughout the series.

One hilarious thing i noticed. The voice of Cutemon is the same voice actor as Shoutmon. Now i'll never take Young Xehanort seriously again.

have yet to.check out fusion but i really enjoyed season 1 and 2. 3 was okay but that was the last i saw and never watched all of it.

You should really give Tamers (S3) another try, it's easily the best installment in the franchise.

Yeah, Nick has not understood how to air new episodes for a loooong time. That said, if it's advertised, they're always good on it. So... Big mistake there. :/

Does anyone think Bandai is going announce anything Digimon related at the next Tamashii Nations event in November? I found a D-Arts Omegamon for under $200, but it's still really expensive and I can't help but hope they'll do a Designer version or reissue after releasing both Metal Garurumon and a new WarGreymon this year. Hmm.

As long as Bandai realizes that plastic capes cut into 3 pieces suck something awful and they should stop doing that...
God, Omegamon practically looks better without the cape because there's only one pose that it doesn't look completely awful (Neutral). The other option is to pose it with the flowing cape (Which does look great), but that only really gives one display option...

If they did a designer or renewal edition, I would hope they would include switchable capes. I just worry that they're done with D-Arts Digimon, or that Omegamon will never see a reissue. Yet, I don't really think I'm prepared to pay $150+ for him either.

Did Nick change the schedule? Wondering why we got SpongeBob today instead of a new episode of Fusion...

This is why cartoons always end up failing. They constantly change the schedule. Seriously, three episodes in and it's already been moved to Sunday? Maybe it would have done better if you had actually aired episode 3. It's sabotage.

It baffles me why they even considered moving Korra there, but that's for another place...

Everyone gets Nick. Not everyone gets Nicktoons. It does not compute.

So a friend of mine asked me who my favorite leader was, and I told him "Marcus." He then glares at me and asks "Why?" I then explained to him that my reason for liking Marcus was that he had a long legacy to live up to, both in the show and in the franchise and that not only did he raise up out of that shadow but he more then exceeded it in my eyes. That's the abridged version but hopefully you get the idea.

Shortly after I asked him who his favorite was. He answered with Takuya. When I asked him why (much more politely then he did mind you) he said, I kid you not, "because he's awesome"... nothing more.

I'm not looking to start a flame war or anything, but this got me thinking. Why is it that most people are so divided when it comes to the different digimon leaders? I'd also like to know, who is your personal favorite is and why are they your favorite?
(Let's keep this between the first five seasons from Adventure to Savers/Data Squad okay.)

Takato is easily my favorite because he was the protagonist of my dreams.
He wasn't loud, brash, and willing to jump into any situation head first with no plan (Like, literally, all his fellow "Leaders"), he wasn't some sort of ultimate chosen one, he wasn't the best in every regard (Sans intelligence, which seems to be the one trait that another character gets), hell, he wasn't even the first on his "Team" (For lack of a better word) to even evolve.

I liked Takato because his adventure with Guilmon wasn't a fun romp though the flowers, despite him wishing it was. He faced strife from every corner, be it rogue Digimon, fellow tamers, Impmon, the Devas, Yamaki, and even his own parents. Watching Takato was a true character arc, following him through the childlike wonder of having a Digimon, to how bad things can actually get, to the complete breakdown he had seeing how brutal a fight can get, and ultimately to him growing up, taking charge, and doing what needs to get done.

It sets him apart from the other Digimon protagonists, and I love it.

Because in any fandom people are divided at everything, add nostalgia to the mix and that only adds to the difference.
There's also the fact that Digimon has tons of great characters, so all of us have different favorites.

My favorite lead is easily Takato, his character development was excellent (as with everybody in that show).
