I would like to see Sosuke (Go-On Red) vs Right (ToQ1-go). Similar arsenal and both are pretty goofy while also being good fighters. Could be a good match up.

Gekiranger vs. Go-Onger. Just because of Long, Miku, Natsume and... GEKI! :D

Why is Gekiranger awesome and why does everyone here love it? And Why should the Former watch it?

I tried to respond, but I realized I was just gushing over it.
It tells a good story (For both heroes and villains) and features a wonderful set of characters (While some do say Jan (A jungle boy) can get a little annoying, it's a case by case basis).
You really should check it out~

I am not a huge fan of Gekiranger, but I will admit that the final arc of the show did me in. I cried...a lot. And it was justified. The build up to the end is pretty good and the characters are likable (my favorite is Sharkie Chan "SHARKEEEEEEEN!!!!") and the fight scenes are fast, intense, and well choreographed.

For me, there is something missing from the show that is keeping it from being in my top five; I just can't put my finger on it. It is easily in my top ten though.

I went into it not sure if I was going to like it but the story drew me in. The vilians are interesting with the same development if not more so the the main team. Some of what I think is the best fight scenes.

Only completes I have are minor and are only near the end but really minor and did not take away my enjoyment

The most excellent sentai movie of all time in an alternate reality; Super Hero Taisen Forever Red feat. Metal Heroes and Kamen Riders because why not.

But honestly I would like say Gokaiger vs Go-Busters because that mecha battle in the end was DYNOMITE!!!

Tensou Sentai Goseiger vs Shinkenger and Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Returns vs Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters are the best sentai movies to me.

The suits work well with the concept, the many nods to kung fu films from the Shaw Brothers' Five Venoms to the Japanese dub VAs of prominent kung fu film actors(i.e. Ishimaru Hiroya who primarily does Jackie Chan voice dubs playing a kung fu master named Sharkie Chan), high energy opening, nice fight choreography, Ishida Akira playing the role of a talking fly who doubles as a commentator during the mecha battles, and Mele.
So go watch it asap.

Mostly because in Asian cultures the tiger and dragon are pitched as rivals like how cats and dogs or cobras and mongooses are pitched as rivals.

I think Long takes this. The other villains were dicks, but he completely changed a lot of lives and was never really defeated

I think a 4 mechas would be enough.

Would probably be my answer.

7 at a minimum:

5 to form the main giant robo (one for each ranger)

6th Ranger mecha that can fight solo as well as combine with other 5.

7th Auxilliary mecha, can serve as a carrier (think King Brachion/Titanus or Daimugen/Tor), and combine with everything else for final/ultimate mecha.

That said, I have a soft spot for excessive formations like G-12 and Samurai HaOh. It's why I won't hear a word against ToQ Rainbow.

Personally, I prefer the more minimalistic designs and combos, such as MagiKing No.1, GekiTouja and Go-Buster Ace.

i do not hate toq rainbow because it's a cluster i hate that you make all the other mechs useless with armless and legless bots unless you bought all the candy toy/ gashapon versions of the trains and have those int eh toq rainbow formation

Personally there is something about ToQRainbow that I like but cannot pinpoint.
Other than that I like Gekitouja, Time Robo, Victory Robo, Shurikenjin, Galaxy Mega, and Dairenoh, Ohranger Robo. And Gosei Great as well. Out of these robots I just listed personal top 2 would be Dairenoh and Galaxy Mega.
