Thanks, also whats a good way to get rid of the goo leftover from the stickers that still allows paint to stick afterward.

First off, welcome.
Second I use testors paint or testors paint pens if im in a hurry. Sharpie paint pens work too but there not nearly as good. I just finsihed my kyoryugin and my gobuster-oh. Ill put them up soon.
Also if you plan on painting the kit, DONT put the stickers on first and then paint. the process to remove the sticky stuff is terrible.
If I may ask whats your first project?

Testors are good. Just practice on something you don't mind destroying first. You don't want to paint a Minipla you love for the first time only to mess up. I practice using junker transformers.

My minipla haul came in today. Im gona have fun putting together Pelsuon, punpacky,zackator,pasagun, ancilodon and topispaino and perideno.
(dont shoot me for the spelling.)

Still trying to work out what's with those gold pieces. It seems a bit much to assume its vac-chrome parts but for foil stickers they look really well applied even for promo pics.

Stickers or otherwise, they look good. For some reason I'm digging the Minipla way more than the DX for Bragigas.

Now to figure out some kinda mass WTF mashup to display all the Minipla in like Ultimate Hyper Grand Wonder Gosei Great.

On the box, they look a lot more dull, however, being a more mustard yellow than shining gold.

It is how I am currently displaying my Goseiger Minipla. It doesn't use allll the parts (Mystic Datas Hyper is on his own, Gosei Dragon and the Shark, Phoenix, Snake, & Tiger Headders are in a Gosei Wonder-like configuration) but it's Ground/Grand Gosei Great with the Wonder Headders instead of the regular ones, All the -ick brothers attached in a Hyper-like configuration, and Gosei Ultimate stuck on the back.

With Minipla, anything is possible. I was able to find a nice DX combo that used every Go-Buster mecha minus Ace. Working him in with how Minipla is extra modular shouldn't be too much more work.. but I don't own any Go-Buster Minipla outside of Go-BusterOh.

Also when braggias arrives im gonna try my first combo using almost all the voltasaurs.

Giant kyoryujin + perigordon back pack + ankidon and punpachy as arms + head of pleusuon as top of staff with parasigun as the shoulder mount.

Can anyone try that with the DX for me?[/B]

Bragigas came today! God the gold foil stickers are great but so damn tiny. Im on the first leg right now and it taken me 15 minuets to assemble and sticker the thing.

Has anyone ever tried these pens?

Never bought a Robo before, but I fell in love with Ace in Go-Busters, and I see his Minipla set is like a 1000 yen on Mandrake. Do tell me more.

It's the only properly articulated and transformable Ace.

Oh and it can store it's sword on it's back.

Sold.

Ace is tons of fun without the others. Got to be my fave base mecha ever.

Bragigas just arrived, although I'm still not sure whether to go paint or stickers for the gold. Thoughts?

Do they wrap around decently? Some of the pics on the box don't have me convinced (the left shoulder specifically).

yes, but the right shoulder has a gap in stickers because its two plastic parts combined to make the dino head.

mine should be in today or tomorrow. Going to sticker one and paint the other. For the stickered, do you recommend a clear coat over it anyway?

Clear coating will seal the stickers onto the kit, not to mention it would remove the cheap plasticy look.

Thought so. Do you guys recommend any specific brand? Going to walmart today to pick up paint markers, so might as well grab some clear coat as well

Krylon's Low Odur Clear Coat should be the easiest and cheapest to find but in terms of quality I would have to recommend either Tamiya or Testors.
