We haven't seen the movie yet in action. I want the movie to do well so that the PR series can be look at differently like how Transformers and TMNT has become. People look at Transformers as a series for both kids and older people while PR is still at only for kids.

Power Rangers being a property for kids is a bad thing because?

It's not, but it would be nice if the series got more respect. Transformers got more respect after 2007. With Transformers, we got video games made for both fans and causal fans that is not dumb down for kids. We also got more merchandise and comics are market to a wilder audience too.

Kerrighan Mahan said at Puerto Rico Comic Con that "he knows a guy that knows a guy" that told him Goldar is in the movie and "that he does know that Goldar is in it; that is fact." Otherwise, what he knows about the movie is that "everything is convoluted and confused" and that "he is in the dark like everyone else." So, take that as you will. Starting at 32m54s

I'm kind of surprised he isn't in advertising, considering he's rather popular, especially with kids that watched the first season of MMPR and nothing more.

I hope Mahan does voice Goldar just like he did for the '95 movie.

If it does, they won't make more the way YOU want it. They simply won't make anymore at all. And denying people something just you don't like it is the definition of fan entitlement.

I mostly don't care for the Transformers movies. But hoping they flop isn't going to get me anywhere. I'd rather they succeed and Hasbro use the money and new-found awareness to give me great stuff like Masterpiece and Generations as a result. Otherwise, I'd be stuck with nuRiD and Rescue Bots...

Here's to hoping that BoA reinvests some of the money into the collector lines in a similar way.

Nothing is riding on it's success.

Both of those lines predate the movies in some form or another.

Much like the FF, they're not going to churn out a sequel if the movie bombs.

The status quo won't change is what I mean.

The only thing that'll happen if it succeeds is we'll have the movie designs plastered everywhere for a couple of years until the hype dies down.

For those who follows me on twitter, you already saw this (and have already read what happened). But, the teaser poster is already hanging up in my movie theater.

I recognized the poster as Power Rangers because I'm in the fandom (duh), however, a lot of people around me were saying, "What movie is that?", "How is that Power Rangers?", "I never would've known that was Power Rangers." They didnt find out until they looked closer or were told by me. So it did get people talking about it at least.

Well they look sharp.

As in they look like they would literally cut me if I were to press a finger onto anywhere on their suits. Not sure if I like or dislike that. Wonder how the Green Rangers Dragon Shield will look in this version, if they get to him.

I kind of preferred taking off the helmets entirely, but I guess this will do.

Iron Man Rip-Off.

The helmets look like they're made of marble, but I guess they're supposed to be glowing with space energy? Onteresting, I guess, but I dunno. I'm gonna have to wait for the trailer to judge this.

Almost thought I was looking at Ronin Warriors for a second.

I liked the suits before, but I like them even more now.

Wish the colours were brighter, but I definitely dig them. Hope we get some decent figures of them to go with the inevitable kid-friendly ones.

I liked the suits before, though if they wanted to stray away from being compared to Iron Man design-wise, they should have stuck with removable helmets, imo. The retractable faceplates/visors SCREAM Iron Man.

I don't mind it. Still wish they were full helmets, but whatever works. Suits still look interesting, if a bit dark in color.

Everything about this movie screams "low effort generic tween superhero craze cash in attempt".

It's gonna be a generic blockbuster of a nostalgic property to make a quick buck and push more toys off the shelves, no doubt. I just want it to be good~

Everything I've seen and heard about the movie has been a mixed bag. I think the movie will be a mixed bag too. But if the movie is bad, I may stop being a fan. Lol sounds extremely cynical.
