Yeah, the controls are really throwing me off, I'm so used to the Gamecube controller. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually, but using the same control method for over a decade makes it pretty difficult to change old habits. :lol

Other than that though I'm really enjoying it!

Mega Man is pretty awesome.
My only issue is that I'm trying to throw the metal blades in different directions, but I end up hitting the direction too early, so I end up using a Rush Coil trying to chuck a Metal Blade up or something :lol

That ended up jumping my stupid ass right into a Smart Bomb that went off with perfect timing :lol

I wish I could have recorded my first game... Ended it by activating Mega Man's Final Smash in the last 5 seconds. It was glorious.

You can throw the Metal Blades in all 8 directions, I just don't know the timing for when to press the direction to guarantee it'll go down-right rather than give me a leaf shield or something.

I've been having the same problem with the Metal Blade, I haven't been using it much as a result. I should probably just practice it more!

Mega Man was the newcomer I was most excited for and while I'm definitely having fun with him, I might actually like Villager more now that I've played them both. His attacks are just crazy and fun, his down B especially. It's kind of difficult to pull off and probably not that practical, but I just love the idea of chopping a tree down on top of an opponent. :lol

By the time the full game launches i'm sure i'll have practiced enough as Megaman to be like Pichu and Sonic in previous games. Practically unstoppable in local multiplayer. :lol

I'm glad I'm not the only one having that issue :lol

Villager is a lot of fun, too! I didn't think I'd be having as much fun with him as I am.
Really, the only character I'm not super into is Mario, strangely :lol

Did you guys hear about how you can't access the internet browser/miiverse on the 3DS OS when playing smash bros? But you can on the NEW 3DS?

That's... Really odd.

Which is totally justified. Especially if you don't already own a Wii U, why buy $500 worth of consoles, and $100 worth of games in a 2 month span just to play different versions of the same game? It makes no sense.

It's kind of like how people who got impatient and got Japanese Smash, and SAL'd it here, thus only getting to play it 2 weeks early, and needing to spend twice the money as such.

And Smash isn't able to use Circle Pad Pro, but it IS able to use the New 3DS's built-in CPP.

And then you have Amiibo and Nintendo fanboys STILL claim that Nintendo isn't as much of a cash grabber as its competitors.

Like I said, looking at polls and forum posts in Japan, they don't seem to care about Ridley at all. Meanwhile, they DID desperately want characters like Dark Pitt and Palutena (and Miku, but that's probably their equivalent of Goku). Mewtwo was their equivalent of Ridley.

I think there's been enough outcry from the English communities that Nintendo must have taken notice, but that doesn't mean they should add someone to the game just because there's a vocal minority screaming for him. They probably considered Ridley even back for Brawl and just decided he wouldn't fit (no pun intended). Frankly, I'm surprised how many people thought he had any chance of making it in.

Bayonetta not being included was obvious too, for the same reasons she wasn't in Sonic All Stars Racing. They obviously have no problems including characters from more mature franchises, but when a characters whole thing is undressing while using her attacks and acting incredibly sexual, I think they'd probably be crossing a line. She would have worked really well, but it was just never going to happen.

Dixie Kong would have been cool as well, but I'd blame her not making it on Tropical Freeze being relatively too recent. Same with Captain Toad, who I'm sure would otherwise have been one of the first newcomers.

There's apparently a glitch in the online where if you use Peach you get a one day ban... Huh, that's kind of weird.

If the Smash is out for the Wii U on the 21st of November, then they might as well cancel Thanksgiving. ORAS and Smash will be taking up all of my time and I won't be bothered by family, unless they want to play Smash.

I will be more interested to see the drop off from the 3DS version once the Wii U one comes out. I think it was smart for Nintendo to not release them at the same time.

Speaking of Circle Pads how are all of your CPs so far guys? I've been hearing about how some 3DS' Circle Pads are breaking due to Smash stress.

Don't get me wrong I love Smash but I do want to play other games on my 3DS when they come out.

Sakurai's games have a habit of ruining those things, it's been like that for years.
My gamecube controllers stick is loose from years of Smash bros.
I'm honestly kind of worried i'll have to get a new 3DS soon.

Admittedly I went though 3 Gamecube controllers (my first one due to wear, the another because Mom stepped on it and the third one I'll tell ya later.)
