Around 8:02 he tries Gold and Scorpion, which aren't even recognized in the belt. Seriously, I have no clue why they gave Gold Scorpion a full design (an awesome design, by the way), and chose not only to cancel its release but instead replace it and remove it entirely. I was rather hoping that its exlusion would mean an Evol form, especially since the Full Bottle Buster reads Scorpion, but not Gold. Also, the F1 bottle isn't recognized in the Evol Driver either, so there's that.

Man, those omissions don't bode well for us ever getting those bottles. I love gold scorpion, I hope we get it, I won't be upset if we don't. It'll just be another unreleased form that isn't attached to any fiction as of yet. What would really bother me is F1 Saurus and police officer never being released. Not finishing the legendary best matches would be kind of irritating. I personally love how these best matches use other bottles and none of them are explicitly themed or named after the riders they make. I've always felt like past legend rider toys are kind of lazy.

I really love if GoldScorpion and F1Saurus are released in future. About Legend Rider Full Bottles, I think t will be cooler if the design are used previous Rider Helmet in bottle design instead Rider sticker on bottle.

So how does the pin setup on Build's toys work exactly? Cranejoe did an earlier video on Build Driver showcasing that you can get different sounds with the same Full Bottle which doesn't make sense if the Driver recognizes Bottle with a specific combination of pins.

the bottles have smell plastic pins that stick out on the back and they work to trip the levers in the driver to tell it with the combination of levers what each bottle. they work like punch cards in old style computers

I hate to say it, but this might be the first Final Form Transformation item in a while that I'll skip. Not too much functionality, and why on Earth did they use Wakamoto's voice for this? KORBY was the voice for the Build Driver, and yet Wakamoto's raspy voice gets the most use in the transformation item. It's especially dumb since we have gotten some of the best voices in the secondary items in the past couple years IMO (like the Necrom Brace voice and Gashat Dual Gear), and yet they played no part in the final form transformation. Pretty disappointing.

I think it has to do with the sclash driver using an enhanced version of the build system. They didn't really dive too deeply into it on the show but the sclash driver was supposed to be the next big step in technology and power. If it wasn't for sento making his own items and Evolt showing up, the sclash driver would still be the top of the food chain. Remember, the hazard trigger was the end of the line for the build driver and was never supposed to be used. Sento is the only reason the original rider system has been able to grow in power.

Now as far as why it's being used in the final form, I have no idea. I'm behind 4 episodes and I don't know if the genius bottle is a purely Sento made item or if Katsuragi had a hand in designing it. Maybe Sento's hazard level is high enough to use the sclash system (not sure what else to call it) and he wanted to incorporate it into his final form since it is technically the more powerful version.

Is there anyone that's caught up on the show that can shed some light on this?

That's sorta how I see it too. The Genius bottle is suppose to be Sento/Katsuragi ultimate creation, the culmination of Project Build. Thus having both Korby and Wakamoto voice helps add to this feeling.

I would agree, but story-wise the Sclash driver wasn't that significant in Project Build. In fact, it's probably only as significant as Gashat Gear Dual was for Chronicle, which means that going by Build's logic the Gashat Gear Dual voice should have been included for Hyper Muteki (which actually would have made some sense, given Parad's relationship with Emu). Here it just feels forced and unnecessary.

I'd argue that it was significant. Katsuragi designed it to be the next step in project build, Sento was not strong enough to use it so Banjou had to, all of Banjou's upgrades have been based on it, and every rider that used it has been an obstacle for Sento to overcome.

Byg42 got me thinking that the two belts have been representations of Sento and Katsuragi. For a good portion of the show Sento has been trying to beat Katsuragi and now with the genius bottle he is finally embracing Katsuragi as an integral part of himself. I believe this to be the intention of the writers and not just a cool coincidence.

Ex-aid on the other hand was a mess when it came to transformation items and new forms fitting into the plot. It was basically just Kuroto and Emu making better games because they wanted to. The gear gashat dual and hyper muteki gashat had nothing to do with each other. Muteki was basically a game shark to fight a different game shark (chronicle gashat and Buggle Driver Zwei)

That's partially true, but the Build Driver was a belt utilizing bottles from Pandora's Box. The Sclash Driver was a belt that reused essences to aid in making new riders. Otherwise, there's no connection between the two (or at least not enough for the voices to both be used in the Genius Bottle). Emu needed Parad in order to transform into Hyper Muteki, and the Gear Dual was the game which Parad was from (or at least associated with). So, if anything, it would make more sense for the voices of the Gashat Gear Dual to appear in Muteki's jingle, given that Parad was essential for Emu to transform.

Hmm well, I don't disagree that Emu and Parad are connected and I get what you're saying, I wish they had incorporated Parad in Emu's final form too but the actual gashats are not connected. The characters are connected and they helped each other access their final forms but the items and forms themselves have no connection physically or symbolically.

I personally wish a version of mighty brothers xx had been the final form and they really leaned into the whole Emu/Parad thing but unfortunately they didn't do that.

I think we may have to agree to disagree here lol. I feel like me and Byg42 made a pretty solid case for the incorporation of both voices but it's cool if you don't think so. I just hope you don't feel cheated by its inclusion. Parad deserved better for sure but Build giving us both voices doesn't make it any better or worse that the gear gashat dual voice was not in muteki. They are two separate shows and toy lines that had no bearing on each other.

Yeah, I'm being nitpicky. The problem to me is that the same case made for incorporating Wakamoto's voice into the Genius bottle could easily be made for other shows. Ghost for example, could've had the Necrom brace voice for Grateful, given that Grimm and Sanzo are never used by Ghost.

It's just that this year is first in a while that the main Driver's voice is, in my opinion, pretty cool, and clear (compared to the raspier-type voices used for the Gamer Driver and Ghost driver). Now we have the raspier-type voice for the secondary driver that has strangely started to eclipse the devices used.
