I like how Vice possessed Ikki when henshin-ing before getting out again to become Kamen Rider Vice. It's like as if they transform together as one but become separate riders, nice!

Edit: What does the text messages conversation say and is it just me or was that his onsen merch he's wearing (the t-shirt looks like it has some kind of onsen logo on it, maybe it is the merch or the work clothes of his onsen)?

The thing with Legend Rider forms or devices is either:

A.) They appear in supplementary material that you'd have to go out of your way to watch (Web series) or in a movie where they usually never appear again afterwards

or

B.) They're toy items you never see used in the show at all

People aren't wrong when they say we haven't seen legend rider stuff used in the MAINSTREAM media in since Zi-O. Saber's legend forms are web series exclusive and has only been advertised on social media. Zero-One didn't get anything, with the closest thing being Ichi-Gata being inspired by Ichigou.

And in Revice's case, the fact that it's putting a new spin on the Legend Rider stuff by combining them with animals makes it fresher than just being forms based on past riders.

I think what also helps with Revice's take on the Legend Rider stuff is that we're doing it differently in terms of aesthetics too in regards to like "canon" Legend Rider stuff.

Like Decade was straight up turning into them, Zi-O had armors latching onto his suit. It looks like Revice's form just shifts instead of armor being added, but also while he gains the aesthetic pieces of the Rider and Animal, he still mostly keeps his color scheme. Which is an interesting way to go about forms.

The way the text behind them flows implies it's supposed to be like a text conversation on the phone, with Revi's dialogue on the left, Vice's on the right.

Considering neither of them are talking during the transformation itself, I think these texts are supposed to be their thoughts as they henshin. If so, this would be a very neat way of adding characterization.

Tbh I get what people mean about legend rider stuff, especially from a toy perspective, because even if its only in the toys and side material "Legend Rider" toys don't really feel special, they feel common, I do think Revice is fixing this a bit by not just slapping a picture of the Legend Rider on the item tho, like megaldon can exist as its own toy without needing to think of it as a "decade" toy

Tho I feel bad for any toyline completionists, the legend rider items every year would add up to quite a big yearly expense, I would be pretty sick of legend rider forms myself if I was buying a bunch each year
Personally tho I've only ever actually bought a few

I really like this henshin! Very fun! Kinda makes me think of the Sclash Driver henshin where the user's submerged in liquid too.

I was thinking the same thing, the henshin sort of feels like a mix between ex-aid and Build for me? Visually it feels like smth out of build, but the actual jingle reminds me of ex-aid

Oh his henshin pose is sick. It's not only a homage to V3(I love that pose tbh), but he also makes the number 50 with it.

So, the gist of it is that Vice is really eager to transform. Ikki is skeptical, the two bicker because Vice isn't really trustworthy, and Vice acts like his feelings are hurt by the accusation. Then Ikki relents, agrees to transform, and Vice gets excited.

It's weird seeing a Rider posing in a bathhouse, but still kind of cool.

Since the Decade stamp uses "megalodon" instead of just "shark" and there's a couple other prehistoric animals, I wonder if the stamps that look like they represent modern species are actually going to use extinct relatives, similar to some of the Zetsumerise keys?

Apparently Revi forms the jaws, arms and head of a t-rex while Vice serves as the rear legs, torso and tail. So, I guess they combine for the finishers?

I just saw the commercial showing those off, too. That's awesome. The paint looks quite decent, so hopefully they're going for a slightly higher price point.

Now, I'm pretty convinced that they'll eventually finish off the Saber Riders via Legend Rider releases. I am hoping that this calls for other RKF Legend Rider releases, too.

The Revi figure doesn't really look like it can accomodate for other form changes or gimmicks, so could the quarter 1 catalog leak have been wrong? It mentioned a new gimmick line rather than RKF. Seems weird to revive RKF just to basically release Revi, Vice, and a few form changes for the entire quarter.

BOY is that combination gimmick absolutely fucking hideous, though. Lord almighty. I hope to god this is the only time we ever have a gimmick where someone's ass gets eaten.

I hope not all of the stamps are going to have the gimmick of Revi and Vice doing the most bizarre cheerleader poses imaginable in order to transform into the creature associated with the stamp. I'm probably wasting my time hoping for that, but if I'm lucky maybe they'll stop having them eat each other's asses.

Even if it's just for the finisher, it's going to be so godawful because they'll end up trying to replicate it for the action figure line.

Well, the Faiz stamp turns Vice into a hover bike, so it doesn't seem like EVERY stamp they have to do some weird gymnastics.
