Perhaps. But from what has been published of the series so far, including the 8-page preview and the 5-page preview of Issue #1, it looks like it'll be a good book.

At the very least, Sonny Liew's artwork will be something to admire.

Dr. Fate, Black Canary, and Starfire is what I'm looking forward to the most, and with Starfire for me starting off pretty good I'm pumped for Black Canary and Dr. Fate.

On that note is anyone reading the new Batman Beyond? I'm still iffy about Tim Drake taking up the Beyond mantle to be honest.

Oh god, now I'm glad I did not ask my shop to put Fate on my hold list. That looks awful.

I got it last week. It's not that bad and it's an okay read. Nothing too extravagant. Can't really say much about Tim as the new Batman Beyond so far. He's pretty much still learning how to properly use the suit and both him and A.L.F.R.E.D. are trying to get use to a slightly changed 35 Years Later Futures End timeline. I'm a big fan of what if/alternate universe or future stories, so I'm hoping it gives a proper conclusion to Futures End than Futures End did.

On a separate note, I also bought Bizarro, Constantine the Hellblazer, Earth-2: Society, Red Hood/Arsenal, and Starfire. I enjoyed Starfire, Red Hood/Arsenal, and Earth-2: Society. Bizarro was okay. I really enjoyed Constantine the Hellblazer. The artwork is a great fit for the comic and John himself kind of seems like a mix of N52 and Vertigo in my opinion. Can't wait to read more.

Gonna go and buy Black Canary, Dr. Fate, Justice League of America, Martian Manhunter, and Robin: Son of Batman tomorrow morning.
