I'm only on episode 20 so I don't know if much changes, but Gemn's motivation is kinda..poor. I mean in Giam you had the bad guys trying to save the world/get an apple to become a god. Drive the machine viruses wanted to take over and i think be like people. Ghost you have a guy from the ghost world trying to save his entire race. Then in Ex-aid the man just wants to make a 10 star meta-critic video game.

So the man was a egotistical psychopath who thought of himself to be a game master god...who wanted to create a perfect game (a ultimate virtual reality you could say)....still kinda iffy motivation there. Now Pallad, I'm waiting to see his true goals.

If you haven't reached the current episode (29), then if Kuroto Dan's motives disappoint you, so will Parad's.

I think the reason Kuroto's motives are fine by me and why I love them a lot is basically the theme of the series. This is a Game Rider Series, and how does this entire conflict start? Some dude was being extra salty one day when someone made some idea's that were just as good as his.

Yep I agree. I bet Kuroto felt threatened in his young age because he thought he was the only video game prodigy out there until Emu drops something of equal or better quality thus kickstarting his twisted sense of survival as the one and only creator of games.

Don't get me wrong, I love this as much as I did Giam, and the motivation works. For a video game theme.

Also i got further in and I am getting serious Giam grunt rider vibes from Chronicle suits. Anyone else?

They're meant to be like the Kurokage/RioTroopers. But their design, as some have speculated, is based off of Goombas from Mario Brothers.

I can see that, being like goombas, just my brain went right to, "hey it's Giam riotroopers.

Also I've learned Pallad's motivation and it's exactly what I expected, and I'm okay with it. Granted im on episode 26, but I'm stilll watching.
