I hope not. Alola forms are nice and all, but it doesn't change that the Pokemon are kind of crap.

The Z-Ring has a slot that perfectly fits for a mega stone. Either we're still getting new ones, or ORAS megas will be available

Also I dun goofed. The Z-Ring special set isn't complete, but it has a third of the Crystals

Got 3 extra Deoxys by trading some legendaries around so I finally accomplished that goal (bless ORAS for making it catchable in game). My living dex is closer than it's ever been to being complete. Now I just need to evolve a Spritzee and to get a Diancie, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect (And of course Volcanion) and I'll be set.

I do feel like normal evolutions and pre-evolutions for past gen Pokemon are probably dead now. I think G4 is last generation to give out normal forms to other past gen Pokemons. I don't want too many Aloha and Mega Evolutions.

I'm guessing it'll be post game stuff.

Shame because i feel like there are some Pokemon that could do with an evolved form.

Gen 6 gave us Sylveon.

I doubt we'll get as large of an amount that Gen 4 gave, since that was ludicrous, but I think past Pokemon might get a few more evos/pre-evos, but they'll only trickle a few in.

I hope there are some normal evolutions of older Pokemon this time around. There are pokemon where a permanant evolution could do wonders for it, not just a mega.

I don't mind having pre-evolutions because they can add a lot to the Pokemon's designs and evolution. Like a pre-evolution for Heracross, Onix and Absol. For Aloha Pokemon, I hope it's not just G1. I feel like Alola Tropius is possible since he fits the theme of the game. It would also be nice if Lunatone and Solrock get something for Sun and Moon.

I kind of want Alola forms for some Pokemon to be references to scrapped Pokemon from older games, like a Buneary and Loppuny who look like the scrapped Flower bunny from Johto.
