Honestly, not a bad price for a weirdly-painted Ultra Magnus. I don't really love that mold, but $25 is still a great price for a Leader-class figure with some accessories.

More like A Lot of GRAY. All the white plastic with gray fade on it, is actually gray painted white, and thats a majority of the figure. And thats on top of the already whole gray parts.

Ollie's should be National, insofar as I am aware. I'm in the Deep South. They're a discount/bargain chain which can have anything and everything. If you're looking for all the recent "War For Cybertron" figures, then it's not really likely, but you might find some small gems and a Studio Series or two on occasion.

Yes, it's the Magnus one with a translucent Rung and Energon Cubes you have to dig out of a "compound" (it's Play-Doh) for...reasons.

Ollie's and TJ Maxx's usually have similar blow-outs, so you may want to check a TJ Maxx if that's closer to you.

So I've been out of Transformers collecting for a good while now, but my interest has been piqued with one particular Studio Series Hot Rod. I was considering putting him off for a bit especially with quite a few big purchases coming up this year, but I've remembered that Transformers can, uh, kind of triple in price on the aftermarket within 4 months of release! So should I get him sooner rather than later, with that being the only factor? I'm the sort of person who doesn't mind too much when she gets something as long as it is coming.

He looks amazing, but you should have a few shots at him in 2021. He's two per case in the Wave that's shipping now (to 1 Scourge), and he's going to be repacked later in the year with a Bumblebee movie version of Starscream. (He'll only be 1 per case there, to 2 Starscreams.)

While he may be in huge demand up front, there should be more than enough later in the year to keep the price down. You're okay to wait on that one, I think.

Oh wow, I didn't realise he was getting a second release (and that we'd know about one already?) when do you reckon that'll be? Most of my big stuff is between march and may, after that my wallet should be freed up

He's double-packed in Wave 1, and single-packed in Wave 2. Wave 1 is just hitting now, so Wave 2 is... somewhere between February and June? Transformers distro is always a shitshow, and that's in normal years. COVID led to there being a five month gap between Earthrise Waves, and then had Wave 2 and Wave 3 hitting almost simultaneously. And that's not even counting how different size classes of a Wave will hit at different times!

Basically, I'd expect the repack Wave to hit somewhere in the spring of 2021, but probably the later end of it.

So here's a question for all of us. We all know that some share the same designs such as Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp or Prowl, Bluestreak, and Smokescreen. Which transformer do you think has the better color scheme?
