I'd say him or Saionji, except, well, I don't seriously expect them to make the older unattractive man a Rider over the pretty boy. Saionji does feel like a natural choice though, as Necrom appears to be technology-based (his Megauruoda being derived from studying the Ghost Driver...). Since Alan and Javelle appear to have power of their own, I don't even really know if they'd need to be Riders. And it could easily be a new character. We'll find out soon enough I suppose.

I think it's very likely that Necrom will be a new character entirely. I mean, think back to OOO. Everything pointed to Goto being Birth and while he did dawn the Driver eventually, it turned out to be Date whom we'd never seen before.

Then Aran must have a type of high-level Ganma form if not being Necrom. What do you think?

If his servant, Javelle, can have one then he has to have one. He can't be a human leading the Ganma. He has to be a Ganma himself.

Javelle's defeat could make Aran try to take things into his own hands. Perhaps Saionji has the resources to provide him with the Megaruoda, considering he has an actual Ghost Driver in his bag.

You know, it bugs me that after 3 episodes, even though they've long since taken Edison from Takeru's lineup in the opening, they still haven't added him to Makoto's? Like. Where even is the sense in that. Dude didn't even get a background with the silhouettes and now they're shafting him the Damashii he worked so hard to steal. Weak.

Also kind of annoying that even though he's had Edison for 4 episodes he's only used it once but eh.

I think that's due to the tie-in to the toy line, the Edison icon was designed for Ghost and the driver is programmed to use Ghost's sounds and not Specter's.

With that I would not be surprised if Makoto never uses it again or any of the Ghost specific eyecons on the show.

No, I don't think that's it really. For one thing, they have to market not only the Eyecons but the Ghost Change series, which is kind of all about switching hoodies. With that in mind it would probably make more sense to push them to use each other's hoodies more. And I doubt Bandai/Toei really care about the sound situation with the Driver. They gave Pythagoras to Specter and it has 100 percent Ghost sounds. (sure, hbv, but still).

Marketing may indeed still be the reason he doesn't use him, though. They have more cause to advertise Nobunaga and Tutankhamun since their Eyecons are sold by themselves (kind of). On the other hand, there's little reason to push Edison since he comes with the Ghost Driver, which every episode already is advertising.

Either way, I do hope he uses him again soon. Otherwise it just means they went and made a special Specter Edison mask for a 10 second scene. With their budget, even that feels pretty wasteful...

None of which explains why he's not in the opening lineup though. They still have Edison prominently featured in his Eyecon collection at the end, so...just throw him in.

I don't know, for some reason I feel once Benkei shows up, Takeru will be able to take back Edison. It's just a feeling though, Makoto could very well hold onto Edison for a while.

Though despite only being used once by Specter, Edison is now Ghost's version of Lemon Energy, and Max Flare. I only say this because despite not being used in another Driver, Alan still used it for experiments.
