I mean seriously, are you fucking kidding me Eiji? YOU ARE OS how can you not know the right medal for the right situation? Sure Shingo or Ankh may come up with an out of the box solution but if you have no knowledge of your own tools then you are just fucking rubbish. Honestly this has to be one of the most stupid storybeats I've ever been given to swallow, how can he not have a knowledge of powers HE FIGHTS WITH just...this is mindblowingly dumb. |
Really the only trainign he'd need is to memorize which medals are which and what powers they have. Like I'd get it if Eiji called out for the Orca medal and got chucked a Batta since Shingo doesn't know which is which, but since they established that he's up to speed even that wouldn't make sense.
Really, why does he even need to train at all? He should know everything. Quote:
I know, dumbest thing I've ever heard. How the hell does black represent greed? |

So, if white = pure, then black = corrupt. It's dumb, but I can kinda see where they're coming from. |

But like I say, this seems like a general problem. The majority of the Kamen Rider Club in Fourze have no purpose, the majority of Haruto's gang in Wizard are useless despite some of them having stuff established that should make them useful and in Kuuga, minus characters who were given a specific function, the side characters again just sorta stood around like a prop that got dialogue. |
And, again, that's why I like W so much. It has a very streamlined cast and what little fluff there is has practical use. Like, really once Accel shows up it's just four main characters on the good guy team: Shotaro, Philip, Ryu and Akiko. Each has a purpose and contributes to the plot. (I mean, Akiko is the only one not a rider) Then you have the drifting, rarely used ambient cast of Watcherman, Santa, the bumbling cops and the producer's daughters because why else are those two girls in that show they're in, like, five episodes? All used quite sparingly. (which sucks because Santa could have his own show he's so weird and hilarious)
Even Den-O, my second favourite series, has a lot of other "main" characters. Outside of the riders and Imagin, (already 7+ characters right there) you have three other Denliner characters and then Ryoutaro's sister. Then you add the two obnoxious, screaming cafe dudes and it's really funny how many focused-on characters there are in a show that's usually focused around just one or two guys. Hell, most shows have the rider, the secondary rider, the female lead, an accociate, and then, like, three or four other characters. It's odd. Not to say I hate them, but I guess got used to the very efficient main cast of W since it was my first series that I now notice the "fluff" more often. |

Watched Kiva 31 and 32 and loved Nago's reaction to Wataru as Kiva. Interested in Taiga, and both Yuri and Megumi becoming Ixa. Also liked Riki fighting Maya and love Emperor Kiva, and Rising Ixa so much.

It's ugly either way. It adds one too many colours to an already busy design aesthetic. |
Blade 20
Oh man looks like things could go bad for Kotarou here. It was nice to see Tachibana take up responsibility for Mutsuki's crazy rider belt, like he's taking him under his wing. And two new Undead with human forms! The ram one is kind of a lunatic. I wonder how important he'll end up being. So Hajime and Kenzaki are more or less allies now, but I forgot Tachibana nearly killed Hajime in their last encounter. Regardless of whether he knows Tachibana was under someone else's control or not, I bet he'll still be pissed. And with Tachibana being Tachibana, he'll probably say it was all his fault anyway... |
Fourze 44: As said, Ryusei's injuries lost some of their effectiveness when just last episode he had a gaping hole in his shoulder that magically healed between episodes.
Then again with how rushed everything has become by this point nothing really feels as impactful as I think the show thinks it is. Like what the fuck are the Presenters? You can't suddenly say they are integral to your shows lore if you've never established or even mentioned them in the past. It's a shame as well because nothing added in this episode is uninteresting, it was actually a really really great episode, it just feels like it should have happened like twenty episodes ago, not like five or so episodes from the end. And should have been more than a glorified of the week story. Also Tomoko and Ryusei are my OTP haha. Fourze 45: So they remembered Ran and Super Fly? Great, just what we needed, as Ran is a fucking IDIOT, she actually managed to be more moronic than Gen this episode who has spent basically the last ten episodes dribbling down himself, at least Libra was around being interesting. Wait so literally everything has been about these Presenters introduced last episode? They really must have made up Chairman's plan at the end of the series, not at the start. Fourze 46: I know it's juvenile but I love the Japanese pronunciation of Pisces 'Piss Kiss' hahaha. I wouldn't do that if I were you. Why would they let Libra know where their base is? They went from not trusting him one moment to the next trusting him completely. I know they are teenagers but fuck me they are idiots, of course Libra would betray you! Fourze 47: the twist itself is interesting, the lack of any kind of build up isn't, I feel like I could have jumped in at episode 45 and gotten the same out of the ending as if I had watched from the beginning. And that is just bad. Plus considering this is a show about space, the sequence of the broken window on the Rabbit Hatch was mindblowing in how dumb it was. As always though when it came to emotions the show got it spot on, Jesus Kengo's goodbye, the acting from Gen and Yuuki, goosebumps. Plus Sagittarius is fucking awesome, he has a Rider Kick! Honestly the action in this episode was awesome in general, although how did Meteor access his powers in the moon base? |
Kamen Rider Kiva Episodes 15 - 17
Dai-chan proved to be... interesting? Yeah let's leave it at that. I rather like the stories of someone who was once evil but forgets there past and learns to be good. Unfortunately the ending was rather tragic. Speaking of tragic, Nago seems to keep getting worse. How the hell does Kivat catch a cold? Lastly, Otoya is a bad ass! I must say Kiva is quickly challenging W as my favorite rider series, not sure how I feel about that but I shall continue onward on this awesome series! Not sure why many people seem to hate it though. |

I finished Kiva 33-35 today and man this series keeps getting better and better. Kamen Rider Saga looks totally awesome did not see that coming with Kengo.
Also I watched Super Hero Taisen today and found that really really fun. Weirdly I really enjoyed DiEnd and want to see his story even if it means watching Decade. |

But then...then it decided it wanted to be more than that, it wanted to be more and more sci-fi, more and more space opera and the more the series grew the less Fourze got to do what it wanted to do so the more things became rushed and the more the 'how much these don't fit together' part of the two genres became obvious. Checked out another episode of Blade before jumping into Fourze's final episode. And eh, just another story of monsters attacking humans with Japanese men with playing cards rising up to fight them eh? Shame. I wonder why they sealed them in a pack of playing cards in the first place, no wonder they broke out! About the only way they tried to mix this up was with them apparently being unsealed to just be sealed again...the fuck is the point of that?! The monster design was good, the suits are really growing on me - I especially love how they have an actual impact on the body so they don't just feel like a change of clothes and for an older series I love the fight scenes. |
Blade 21
Mutsuki wasn't even in control when he beat up and mocked Hajime and Hajime still tells the kid to learn to control his power....so he could kick his ass later. Harsh, dude. So yeah, it's like I thought. Tachibana's gonna mentor Mutsuki on being a Kamen Rider. Pretty cool. Looks like there's finally a hint of the main villains. Their base appears to be a submarine...Interesting. Wacky Ram Undead's finally gone. I wonder if/when they'll be utilizing the high level undead cards... |

I actually really liked how Blade handled it.
I don't remember how Blade classified each Undead to a specific suit/number, though. |
So other than the OOO movie Fourze has another film and Superhero Taisen do either of these need to be watched and perhaps more importantly are they worth watching?

I hated it. The action was fine, but, for the most part, the movie was just terrible to me. However, do note that a main character was my least favorite Rider, so watching him go around godmoding everyone always pisses me off, so I might just be butthurt :lol |

(Note: Super Sentai vs Kamen Rider mostly means "Gokai Red vs Kamen Rider Decade", but lots of others pop up. The Fourze cast do have their moments). |
Meh, I'll probably skip superhero wars and just watch the Fourze film then!

Ah yes, you do need to finish OOO for Megamax.
It's a pretty cool movie. |
Final Switch: Wow that letter scene kinda exposed just how shit everyone in the Rider club really was with Kengo's parting lines varying massively in length and detail between characters who actually contributed to the series and those who were just there.
Either way this was ultimately a very corny and very disappointing episode, and I guess corny and disappointing are a good way to sum Fourze up. So a fitting end really. Plus, it was better than whatever the fuck happened at the end of Kuuga. At least it ended on a happy note and I love the cameo from Haruto. Overall I think I'd rank my series, from worst to best as: 4) Kuuga: the opening ten episodes were great, the world was well built and Ichijou is a fantastic character, that said the acting was shit, the tonal clash was too much, the action was awful and it had a rubbish main Rider. Plus most of its style choices were just wrong. 3) Wizard: Obviously this hasn't finished yet but currently where I stand, Haruto is one of my favourite Riders so far and I will defend him always. That said Wizard is mainly a show of potential, rather than a show of great moments, and sadly throughout the shows run horrible pacing has undermined all the great potential of the series. It has awesome action sequences though. 2) Fourze: Although the second half of this show is generally much worse than anything found in Wizard, the fact that for me the opening half was basically flawless and the best Kamen Rider stuff I've seen yet rockets this show to stars. 1) Dragon Knight: Fuck the haters, I just adore this show and it was my window into Kamen Rider and I'm eternally grateful for that. |
Blade 22
Really, Mutsuki? You think its awesome to have a tragic backstory? Ah, well, he eventually did pick a good enough reason for fighting. And hey! Looks like he can control his rider form now! A new high level undead arrives, huh? Interesting. I wonder what the Hawk dude's deal is... |
Aaaaannnd Blade 23
Wow, so Hajime can shift into different Undead as well. Huh. That reporter chick, though. I thought by the end of the episode, she realized Hajime was ostensibly a good guy, but whatever she was doing by the end looked a little ambiguous...Anyway, go into a little more of Hajime's backstory here. A little. Now, at least, Kenzaki knows why Hajime protects Amane and her mom. I wonder if he'll tell Kotarou... Interesting little exposition on how the Undead Collectible Trading Card Game™ works. Too bad Mutsuki's only interested in collecting the ultra-rare hologrpahic editions. Seriously though, don't whine because Tachibana was trying to tell you something important, Mutsuki. Geeze... |
So Blade 04:
Fear of what the Rider powers will do to your body is something I've wanted from all my Rider shows, a sense that something is happening beyond changing outfits, so I'm glad that Blade not only includes that but also makes it central to its series. That said, everything else introduced was a bit nuts, something about eternal life would cause world peace or something? (what?). Also the relationship between Blade and the Journalist is a little bizarre, didn't they just meet the other day? And didn't they only tolerate each other because they both had something to gain? Why are they now like close childhood friends? I expect this off Gen but I assumed this series was trying to be a bit more serious. Oh well, Kenzaki isn't unlikeable at least, he feels like a proper hero and I'm quite enjoying Tachibana as well. Sadly though I've not really been given a reason to care about anyone else yet, though, although that Cupid Rider dude has an awesome suit design. Plus it blows me away that this show came out only three years after Kuuga and yet has such impressive action sequences. I guess Heisei Kamen Rider was progressing pretty quickly til the Den-O format caught them in a rut. Plus, for whatever reason, I've always gotten more out of Riders and Rangers fighting other Riders and Rangers than I have MOTW so I like that there is so much Rider on Rider action so far. |
here some thing has there been a sub group that actually Subbed Kamen Rider SD
|
for Get that i found Subs but it got no Peers or Seeders i i Download this i will seed as long as i Can http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=view&tid=97172&showfiles=1

What the fuck is up with the Fourze movie audio? It's set up for six channels and I can't seem for the life of me to change it, so I have audio that sounds like it's coming in and out and it sounds horrible and flat as I only need two channels.
Nevermind, apparently this is something to do with my version of windows, I had to basically put in a code for custom mapping to get it to not sound like I was running backwards and forwards in front of the film |
Actually, since it was brought up, I rewatched Megamax and it's actually cooler than I remember. Really the team-up bits, since the Riders really work off eachother well. (Shotaro meeting Gentaro is priceless) Plus OOO and W kick ass in that movie.
