It isn't really political talk. A dude got gunned down in broad daylight and every time something horrible happens, the next Sentai/Kamen rider show tends to be very lighthearted and goofy.

I'd argue that the subject isn't political in nature. Shinzo Abe *was* the Prime Minister, but was no longer in position. He was just a normal person from what I can remember. Telling people that he was killed isn't political talk, it's simply sharing news.

I agree the mentioning of a former politician being assassinated isn't inherently political. But I do think that being more concerned about a tv show than the loss of life is a bit insensitive.

QUESTION: Out of curiosity, if I were to make a thread for an original idea that would include art, story, etc. Would I be right to assume that I would be putting that in the fanfiction forum?

I ask because I feel that would be the closest place to add projects, regardless if they're fanfiction or original.

Everyone knows that, much like how the Queen must be present at the recording of the first episode of any BBC drama due to a clause in the founding charter, the PM of Japan must sign off on any new Kamen Riders due to debut in the show (movies are okay though, it's a difference in licensing).

This week I went to the theatres twice. I saw Elvis on Wednesday and Thor Love and Thunder on Thursday. I did not care for Thor Love and Thunder. Marvel has been dropping the ball lately. Elvis while I have some issues with it is a far superior film and would recommend seeing that over the fourth outing of the "Norse" god of thunder.

I finished Saved By The Bell Generation III this week on Peacock. It wasn't renewed for Series III. Had they gotten 2 more series it would have been Daisy's
class graduating.

I swear AO3 gives me a massive headache everytime I visit. All those tags don't help anyone!

I dropped both Paramount + and Peacock. Also HBO Max. Next month I may need Netflix after the 1st due to Cobra Kai.

I watched The Bob’s Burgers movie last night and it wasn’t bad. It was basically a longer episode of the TV show with a slightly bigger budget. I can see why I didn’t do so well the box office because it doesn’t feel like a show that needs a big theatrical movie. Theatrical movie based off of Family Guy or Futurama would probably draw more of a crowd.

New York Post is not always the best source for news. It could be anything because other things exist besides Aliens. Techology from other country, angels or demons, etc.

Yeah....Guyver has a point. But! We'll never know until they find what it was. It could have something alien on it for all we know. Be it some new type of metal or element.

Yeah the New York Post is about as reliable as The Sun for actual news.

Oh, Loeb. He's infamous for his alien theories, and I'm not saying it's because they get public attention when he claims to have found "proof" of an alien vessel in the solar system. I've read a paper he put out, and while planetary astrophysics isn't quite my area, it's also dubious at best.

I just don't miss.

Watching Star Trek Discovery Series IV on DVD which opens up stream for The Orville Series III New Horizons. Discovery has 10 more coming out for Series V. (Filming in June.)
