I finally decided after the latest trailer which version I'm gonna get (which tbf never changed ever since we got titles but eh). Finally preordered Sun. Woo hoo.

I have been feeling Sun ever since they were first revealed, and my initial reaction to all the version-exclusive monsters so far has reflected that...at least, initially. It's weird. I still like Solgaleo and Absorption a lot more than Lunala and Beauty, Passimian and Oranguru are about equal for me I'd say.

But Lycanroc is in a weird place. When it was shown on Corocoro my opinion was that neither was too impressive but the Midnight form was awful. But, seeing its 3D model somehow turned that opinion upside down. I...think I like it? I...think I may even want to use it in my team now? What the hell. Its design still strikes me, as some people have eloquently put it, as an edgy sonic oc. But I don't know, something about the entire slouching way it moves, the whole "come at me" gesture, its entire demeanor...It's definitely some edgy shit, but damn if I don't find it endearing. The number of revealed Pokemon I want to use is still pretty low (2.5 or something), so ow-the-stone-edgewolf may just find a way into my team.

It's a good thing to have friends is I guess my point.

Haven't commented on the News much lately but...Passimian and Oranguru have to be version exclusive Totem mons, right...? Right...cause. One is the teamwork Pokemon, and the other has been said to use Pokeballs (which could be weird, in-game, but also, interesting). Both also have abilities that benefit from multi-mon battles. Then again...Passimian receiving Receiver, if at all possible, would be pretty useless. Maybe it has a prevo with a different ability...? We'll find out I guess.

Still been doing a lot of breeding. Got a shiny Cranidos this past weekend, and a Lickitung yesterday. Two Onix within 3 eggs of each other about a week ago, which is great, because this way, I get to have a cool gold Steelix, but also keep one as a puke snake. That's cool. It's cool how I get two of an ugly shiny instead of the other 30+ Pokemon I've been breeding that actually have cool shinies. Tis life.

Think I'm getting close to or...at, or past 100 boxes of MM eggs since I started breeding again a little over a month ago...9 shinies among them...not amazing, but at least beating the odds I guess.

Just started playing Pokemon Black 2.

My team is currently just a Snivy, a Snivy named Miia. I named a Pokemon after a character in an anime i don't even watch.

Generations episode 4 is up and now they're on Gen 2.

The most annoying part of these Generations shorts? They're not a full length series.

The latest Generation episode was decent. I'm just glad that they're not just using Red for everything like some of us were fearing (though to be fair that should have been dispelled when the first one had all the scenes of Red through the generations now that I think about it). Though the animation did feel like it was of a somewhat noticeably lower quality.
