Wow. And to think I almost respected MacFarlane for making a bold move.

Not at all. It's not my favorite thing in the world (The Rabbids overstayed their welcome when they were shoehorned into TMNT: Smash Up) but if it makes you happy then go for it.

Regarding Family Guy: We all knew it would happen. Enough people bitched about it plus Brain was confirmed for new episodes.

Seth stretched himself too thin by doing FG, AD (which is the superior show) and TCS; which bombed surprising almost nobody. At this point he should pick a show and let the other die. I vote for Family Guy to undergo the final cancelation.

I just want Seth's crap off the air altogether. His style of humor isn't strong enough to support 3 shows, and he aims for dead baby jokes and shock gags when he fails to realize that kind of humor gets it's power from being unexpected, not the norm for a series.

South Park reels it in so certain gags and jokes work. They don't always aim for the dark and mean spirited path just because that's what's typically expected.

Well, what a shameless bit of marketing that was. Even comics generally wait a few months before doing that. It feels gravely dishonest and a bit of a slap in the face.

I was never a fan of american dad…it always just came off as a dumbed down, unfunny clone of Family Guy…

Haven't watched that many episodes of Cleaveland show yet but I'm not missing anything from the sound of things.

Yeah they overstated they're welcome in 2007. It's really just a show i watch when the'rs nothing on TV. There are a couple of episodes that i geniuly enjoy.

Remember Quagmire's big rant about why Brian sucks?

Yeah, Brian's replacement (from the one episode I saw that he was in and it that was tonight's) fell into not one of those categories.
He wast a lonely sack of crap, he wasn't a self-righteous asshole "author artist," and he wasn't a strawman Liberal Athiest.

Brian's replacement felt like an actually decent character.

And here I am, just watching old episodes of Spider-Man: The Animated Series. :lol
