Don't forget GekiYellow! I loved her motherly way of being a leader, even though she didn't get to shine as much as Tsuruhime and Yuri.

Totally forgot about GekiYellow. They underutilized her; heck I even forgot about her and it wasn't that long ago that I watched Gekiranger

Time Pink I think felt like the more hands-on leader.
Ninja White did feel close to her counterpart from Journey To The West and looking back now I think it was probably best to bring her for Gokaiger instead of Sasuke since he was more of a protagonist than a leader.
Geki Yellow like Suzu said was more of the maternal type.

And now a question: which Sentai alumni do you think was the best actor or actress?

Especially since she had an episode where she literally had to babysit Retsu and Jan after they were turned into an infant and a 6-year-old respectivley.

That episode is perfect for shutting up assholes who claim "Sentai is more mature!" Peeing Retsu indeed. :lol

I remember on IGN back in 2004, you had fans that where like "Dekaranger is so awesome. I hope Disney won't fuck it up since Dekaranger has a dark and serious tone to it!".

I will say, it was a show that didn't really hide the fact that alien races die.

I wouldnt call Carranger mature in some aspects but a lot of the humor isnt something a Kids will get. It was definitely produced with an older audience in mind.

Phew, that's pretty tough to answer. Most characters are very close to the actors' real life personalities so it isn't very hard for them to do well at acting. I think one of the best performance during a Sentai series is still Hiroya Matsumoto as Tsubasa in Magiranger. While Tsubasa was a very calm character, his extreme emitions like fear and sadness were outstanding, the best performances being the episode where he used the forbidden magic and the sniping episodes.
If you go by performances after Sentai though, I think Tori Matsusaka aka ShinkenRed deserves the crown for best development. While he could be pretty awkward back in the day, he quickly improved (starting with his awesome performance in Clone Baby). I'm planning to see his newest movie in cinema soon and I'm really looking forward to it.

And if you want amazing acting in both Sentai and after it, Yudai Chiba aka GoseiRed is your man. His performance in Gosei was incredible, as he was able to present a wide range if emotions already. No wonder he's very popular lately. Can't wait to see him in Mr. Maxman!
