So I looked at the lyrics to Accel's song Leave All Behind and really liked it. After the third day of humming along and ruminating on it I realized something.

It reads like a love song.

I thought over it some more and that's all I can get from it. An optimistic song about strong connections and creating a better future by navigating pitfalls and setbacks together.

At least that's my rose tinted way of looking at it.

I just thought it would be interesting if the rider had a secret identity. That is, not only from the characters of the show, but also from the audience. Suppose we are initially shown several candidates, and we will observe the "club of detectives" trying to find out the identity of the rider. If suddenly the audience does not like it, you can always reveal the rider and continue with a more standard story.

I'm curious how well they'd be able to handle that. Like, the key to a good mystery is the ability for the audience to figure it out without it being spoon fed, but for a franchise that both loves pulling stuff out their ass as well as the young target demographic, I don't know if they'd be able to handle a solid mystery like that for a prolonged period.

I do think if you move the mystery from the main rider to the secondary, they'd likely be able to do a much better job.
Like Meteor from Fourze, except the audience also doesn't know who it is.

Perhaps, but for a modern show, this is more of an extra-rider.

Isn’t it weird in Revice that Yukimi and Hana never REALLY interacted at all throughout the series?

It would’ve been nice if episode 32 was rewritten or somewhere else, where Hana as Aguilera goes to the bathhouse for the first time and find the Igarashi family photo with Sakura in it. Yukimi would’ve started to recognize her a bit, including Tamaki, until Aguilera starts to kidnap Yukimi as a means of luring Sakura to her.

Next episode later, Yukimi follows Aguilera in Tamaki’s place to learn more about her past and how she could help her and her daughter, realizing how Aguilera is fond of Sakura in a way. Yukimi makes a deal with Aguilera to bring Sakura to her. Both she and Tamaki would watch them from a distance having fun.

I just wish there were moments with Yukimi, Sakura and Hana together.
