Yeah that was supposed to be the case but things changed around the time the OP changed. Things have been disjointed story-wise ever since. Kamen Rider Legend was also supposed to have a bigger role in the series than what he had.

They usually announce a V-Cinema after the finale, but I don't see or hear anything about it yet. Isn't that weird?

Think they'll announce it later if only because this might be a similar situation to Zero-One kinda.

With Zero-One they had to film the Summer Movie first to release it later since Covid messed up filming. Then we got the V-Cinemas announced later.

With Gotchard, Gavv's episodes being filmed so far in advance might mean they had to have filmed the likely Winter Crossover first after filming the show instead of the V-Cinema then the Winter Crossover like usual. If only because they likely don't want Gavv to get too ahead and they might be also trying to get advanced screening stuff on the Winter crossover too and need to get that done now for China to check and review.

Oh right, the Gavv advance filming. I guess it makes sense how that might affect scheduling for Gotchard's post-show content. I wonder if this is just a Gavv thing or if Toei are planning to repeat this for future seasons.
