Yeah. Pinkie Pie and Twilight were older characters, while Fluttershy is a fusion of like, 3 characters, and Rarity, being the rarity that she is, is quite unique~

Eh, I got bored during the wait between S2 and S3, so I decided to research them :lol (Oh, I forgot. Spike is G1, too)
I didn't really learn much (I tended to react with "OMG WHAT'S WRONG WITH THEIR FACES!?" most of the time :p), but it was fun.

(Rarity is pretty cool. I used to hate her for being snobby... sometimes at least. But she grew on me somewhere down the road and she became one of my favorites. :))

I hated Rarity when I first started watching.
I initially gravitated towards Dashie because she was the tomboy and wasn't as "Girly," so to speak. Meanwhile, Rarity was basically the epitome of what I didn't want to be associated with, being a feminine fashion designer who enjoyed pretty things and generally acted like a stereotypical girl.
However, I soon realized my error, as Dash felt like a one note character "I'M NOT GIRLY! LET ME SHOW HOW UN-GIRLY I AM!" while Rarity felt more interesting and, as I continued, tended to be funnier. Her overreactions and attitude was just much more fun than the others.
And she's gorgeous~

That is pretty awesome. Summoning a persona by singing? And then proceeding to have them being mermaid-horses? (Merhorse?) Awesome~

Halfway through the season premiere and...

If I was forced to miss the premiere because my aunt doesn't know how time works and made me wait the entire hour for nothing, I'll be pissed...

I mean we just got Netflix and MLP isn't one of them!! (Rainbow Rocks and Equestria Girls are, though) So really there is absolutely no way to keep up without scouring the interwebs.

Sucks that your Netflix doesn't have it...I don't know why Hasbro is so late in releasing it there.

It was a fun debut, going from town to town sounds like a really cool plot for the season, and the first location was a great start, touching well the friendship themes.

All in all it was cool.

She really was surprisingly cool.
It's not an overly evil type, and dang, the girl fits her role with energy.

Meh... my problem with the premiere of season 5 is that it felt too... normal. First we had a fallen Princess try to bring eternal night, then the master of chaos returns to rule again, then a kingdom with it's dark king reappears, after that we got the Everfree Forest take over with some great flashbacks and the Tree of Harmony appears.

After all of that a single unicorn trying to build up a town of slaves because she's absolutely crazy isn’t very... exciting.

Felt more like a normal episode stretched into two parts to me. I still enjoyed it and being on the level of a normal episode isn’t saying that it was bad, I was just expecting something... bigger.

I had one question it might be a floor in ep. How can mane 6 see how dull every other pony looked and then you got the pony still full of colour with same Mark.

I preferred the more normal feeling. Don't really know why, but it made things feel more interesting, ironically.

I get what you mean by it was more of a normal episode but I really like the atmosphere and creepy aspects from the village.

There wasn't much in terms of anything mystical going on and I enjoyed but I get what you mean about being more normal.
