The main thing that dragged it down for me was how awful the mech fights were. The show very, very rarely did anything with them other than the stock footage finishers. For such good designs, they were utterly wasted. Everything else about the show was aces, though.

11-12: Pretty good. It's nice to see the ramifications of having to protect someone anganst this much evil. Tenkuu Shinken-Oh looks OK, it just looks like it shouldn't be able to fly. Then again, neither does Dai-Tenku, so...

13: ...What the actual f***? That was weird, but fun to watch, even if it has some fridge horror to it

14: Richard Brown!!!!! This was hilarious, especially the role call. Although why did they try to engage him? Wouldn't it have made more sense for Ryunosuke to attack with his water arrow, that shoots water... Richard Brown!!! Woot!!!

15: I liked this episode. Chiaki's a good character, and it's nice to see him use his brain and try to train, even if it get's foiled by anger

I watched episodes 26-31 of Maskman today. At first Kiros seemed promising, but instead, he is just another lackey. :-( The only thing I can really say I enjoyed in these six episodes was Soge playing Babara's mother regardless of how stupid that episode was.

Finished Gokaiger yesterday, amazing series. I will eventually look back and post reviews of every episode, but for now I'm just gonna say it was probably my favorite Sentai show. And... I'll admit that I nearly cried when Akarenger showed up during the end credits ;u;

For now I'm going to finish up some Rider and anime shows I've started in the past, but my next Sentai will probably be... no clue yet. Leaning towards Dekaranger, Boukenger, and Shinkenger.

GaoRanger 18: I love the Rouki saga right now he is totally badass. It's great the GaoRangers got a win in this feud right now because it was going to get stale if they didn't. I loved GaoRed's heart and how he kept up with Rouki that was badass, that's the animal spirit! The Clock Org was okay but kind of OP and needed to spam his power a lot more to actually hurt. Also loved the GaoAnimals coming to stop GaoHunter that was badass. Go GaoRangers! Can't wait for more.

Watched the first episode of Kakuranger together with Convoy and it was awesome. It was really great comedy-wise, the designs and action looks fun (well of course, it has Takaiwa as Red and his wife as white) and the overall story seems really cool. Also, that ending xDDD

Can't wait to fully start watching the show after finishing Ryuki <3

Kakuranger is awesome. I only got about 15 or so episodes in before I stopped (Because of the slow episode output, not the quality of the series), but I do definitely plan on picking it up again and watching it from start to finish!

GaoRanger Episode 19: This was a fantastic episode learning about GaoBlack's past. I felt bad for him being manipulated. I would probably have done the same thing to try and save the woman I love too. Really good episode even though it didn't have much of Rouki in it.

GaoRanger Episode 20: A Great episode about GaoYellow's past and learning that he couldn't defeat his first org by himself was great. It shows how much he's grown over the time and that he doesn't want to be weak. I can relate to that too. I love that he was able to wound Rouki too. Poor GaoBear and GaoPolar too... Well I believe I am almost to GaoSilver soon.

Man, I only have 15 episodes of Maskman left and for some reason I cannot bring myself to finish them.

Rewatching all of Timeranger. I just love and also find it funny how they try to emulate speedy action with low frame rate. But then, that is one of the show's charms. And the henshin sequence still holds up.

GaoRanger 21: Definitely gets more interesting with Rouki, and I love his Wolf-Dog Puppy that he cares about it's so cute. I loved GaoYellow and GaoRed actually kicking Rouki's ass too. Very silly with Yabaiba and Tsuetsue too. Intrigued with the Mecha God that appeared I kind of remember that from Wild Force so it should be interesting.

Oh yes, Yabaiba and Tsuetsue the Jesse and James of sentai.

GaoRanger 22: GaoGod, well that's a much better name than the American version. The Rouki storyline picks up with them figuring out he's human and was the sixth GaoRanger is definitely interesting. Master Ura is a bitch I hope they beat him into a pulp. Rouki's storyline right now has been extremely interesting right now. I can't wait for more, and also Hand standing mecha are awesome. =)

I just started Boukenger (Task 3) and I am way too early in the show to have kind of an opinion about it. Hopefully by next week I will be somewhere in the 20s and can form an opinion.

The best way to enjoy Boukenger is to watch it like a 1990's American cartoon preferably James Bond Jr. or Captain Planet．

I've been slowly marathoning Sun Vulcan at my pace (episode 33 at the moment), and I'm enjoying it very much in a vintage sort of way. I still feel that Misa should have been a female member and it's a shame that Vul Eagle got replaced, but otherwise I have no complaints. ^^

Capt Planet and JB Jr were great shows, so I guess Boukenger could creep its way into my sentai top 10

The reason I brought those two shows up is because of the villain syndicate concept. It is a rarity in sentai and aside from the ones we saw on the show there were more that were only on record. That was really what sold me when it came out.

Yeah I am only on Task 8 and they are fighting technically 3 different sets of villains. I don't think I have ever seen that this early in a season before

And it doesn't do much good to the plot either.

Was holding it off in hopes of it getting subbed, but the discovery of a set of raw DVDs of the show has made me eager to now finally get around to watching GoGoV, starting with the few subbed episodes until I buy the set. I have to say I'm loving the hell out the show so far. I love how the whole episode is usually devoted to the team having to deal with the emergency with the monster fight being closer towards the end. I'm also really digging how much the family works off each other and how they are as a whole. The music is great, action is awesome, and overall I'm finding a lot of enjoyment in the show so far.

Watch out Hurricanger, you may end up being dethroned.

Just finished the first episode of Jetman. After I finished Zyuranger (the first Sentai I watched) I haven't found one that clicked with me quite as well as that one did. However, I think I found exactly what i've been looking for here. So far, everything feels just right. Normally, I make it 5-ish episodes into a series before losing interest, but I might actually see this one through.

I'm surprised it took me this long to actually give Jetman a chance.

GaoRanger Episode 23: Ah finally the entire story of what happened to Shirogane becoming Rouki. Very intriguing I love the sacrifice he did to save the world. It sucks he had to become an Org to do it but I commend him for what he was willing to give up to do it. Yay GaoRhinos and GaoMadillo! I remember these two and they are awesome. I'm glad they had the resolve to finally defeat GaoHunter. Yay! the Rouki arc is finally done, a bit long but definitely worth it. Now the moment I've been waiting for GaoSilver! Merrick is one of my favorite Rangers so I hope his counterpart will be too.

Watched Kakuranger up to episode 8 and the movie and honestly, I really enjoy it. I like the overall characters, as they are really loveable and interesting. The writing and action is great and I love the comedy in this series. What I also love is all the stuff you learn about Japanese culture, it's super-interesting to watch the show and get some more info on both yokai, but also society.
Great show so far.

I feel like i'm in the minority here, but I got 9 episodes into Kakuranger and was bored. The only interesting part was seeing all of the different yokai.

Anyways, I'm 8 episodes into Jetman and i'm loving it so far. This is the most i've enjoyed a Sentai since I got into it with Zyuranger, but I feel like a lot of my enjoyment there came from nostalgia (and I have no nostalgic connection with this series). I'm a bit sad that there won't be a 6th ranger, but if the rest of the series is at least as enjoyable as it has been so far, I won't mind
