Only cool thing old season leader showing up

I would love to have a "back-to-basics" Digimon anime back on the air right after the Tri movies are over (or even with the Tri movies going on)..........I think after all the Xros Wars stuff, it is a time to return back to traditional evolution (digivolution)

Seasons 1 & 2. Maybe with some 3.

Ominous digital threat, random kids spirited away and given talking animal buddies who through life lessons and good virtues (of which each child embodies one of these traits), evolve into stronger forms to kick ass. Also lots of badass Angels.

And Saban throws bad puns in the dub.

Then I cannot properly endorse this.

How about preteens are... However they got on that digital train with the bunny and the white thing... And channel the spirits of ancient warriors into powerful warrior forms?

How do you dodge the one Digimon series I can properly get behind? :lol
Just give me a Digimon series where:
The randomly chosen kids aren't really random (Sans a few)
The ominous digital threat is actually more of a threat to the real world
There are no life lessons beyond "Don't be stupid" and "Don't be a terrible person"
The kids aren't the most virtuous in the world and they aren't the embodiment of one particular trait
The talking animal buddies actively want to kill each other (Once again, sans a few)
And there are no angels whatsoever, but a ton of demons and devils

For me atleast bringing back the staged evolutions and limiting the amount of Digimon the protagonist can have to at most 3.*so the relationship between partners feels more meaningful and personal*
