Looks like the D-arts are getting more expensive with each release. Must reconsider whether or not I want to start collecting them. Haha. I already missed the first couple releases anyways...maybe I can stop at trying to get Wargreymon, Omnimon and/or Imperialdramon....

Alphamon is pretty pricey, but I hope he is worth it. Imperidaldramon was totally worth the price in my opinion. When holding him, he does feel like a high art figure. It's a shame that his wings are hard to put on, putting them makes you feel like that you may press too hard and possibly breaking the figure.

I'm not even going to bother with a response. Doubt anything I mentioned. Stands a chance in hell, especially with all this DBZ love-in the last few pages. Guess I'll have my hands full going backwards and getting all the figures I've missed being unemployed.

I hope not. God I hope not. With all of the character from Z and original DB, there is no reason to waste their time on fanfiction like GT. Hell, I don't even want movie only characters unless it is from Battle of Gods.

In fact, my top wanted list for Figuarts includes:

Bulma (either Namek or AH sags versions)
Namek Gohan
Beers
Kid Buu
DB Goku w/tail
Adult Gohan (blue outfit)
Majin Vegeta (with alternate heads without the M)

Other than those, my must haves for what is out right now that I need are Goku, SS Goku, SS Vegeta, 18, and Krillin. Not sure if I am going to buy 17 or not and I have no interest in Broly, 16, or Nappa.

Geeze, you guys sure talk alot about what if figures, and I'm sitting here wanting none of it. :lol

Seriously man get over it. GT isnt "fan fiction" just because Toriyama doesn't like it or because you don't like it. Its an official continuation of Z in show form. There's no reason to shit all over a perfectly good show. It IS cannon. Toriyama regards it as something else entirely, but guess what? That's not his decision or yours. You don't like it? Fine, but you literally can not disregard it's existence, it's official.

I would personally love to have some GT characters in SHF form. Sure they aren't as popular as Z, so they won't likely happen for a long time. But I do want them. Give us a DB Kid Goku and an easy repaint/Remold would be GT Kid Goku. Creating a new GT Trunks body would be simple and the heads already exist from Future Trunks to use with it, toss in Giro as a bonus. SS4 Goku would be an incredibly badass looking figure too and a lot of people actually would be all over it.

Now for what's likely going to happen way before that? Post Broly & 16? We're probably looking at some more obvious things like maybe the other Imperfect Forms of Cell, possibly 1st form Frieza, God Goku, Kaioken Goku, Nappa, Raditz, Majin Buu, Majin Vegeta, Adult Gohan in one of various costumes, etc. I'm not saying GT figs should happen immediately, but there are definitely more deserving figures that should comefrom GT before a 1-off movie villain like Beerus

Actually, from the little I've read on the subject Toriyama seems to have quite a positive attitude toward GT.

Most of his negativity came from him being relegated to art consultant on the series. Rather than having actual creative/plot influence. He designed the main cast and came up with the title. But for the material itself I've never seen him being openly hateful of it. So when people call it "fan fiction" or unofficial simply because he didn't write it, it infuriates me.

Would people say the same thing about 75% of American comics which regularly changes writers 3 or 4 times a year? Only the first creators stories are cannon? That type of attitude is silly and pointless. DB/Z/GT is one big awesome shared universe.

I largely have no problem with GT other than the ending, which painted Goku as an absolutely horrible husband, father and grandfather. I mean Z didn't really do him a lot of favours but GT was just too much.

Vegeta was just perfect throughout thought. It was a brilliant continuation of his character development from a murderous prince into a loving father who could cast away his superiority complex.

Most fans don't view GT canon to the manga given he didn't write the show and you have stuff that won't fit like the Super 17 saga. In the manga, it states villains don't keep their bodies (Vegeta is lucky to keep one) since their souls get clean and get reincarnated as something else. So that makes the whole stupid saga in GT impossible to happen. Also recent stuff like Dragon Ball Online which has Akira Toriyama having a big part of the story of the game ignores GT in the timeline.

If they make GT figuarts then I would likely buy Super 17 and Super Yi Xing Long (Omega Shenron) because those two characters have great designs despite being lame villains. I do want to see the original Dragon Ball characters like Kid Goku and Master Roshi get made first before we jump into GT.
