GaoRanger Episode 40: I was surprised that this turned out to be a GaoSilver focus episode but pretty much the 20's are heavily focused on him so the 30's not being focused on him made sense. I love the GaoRangers' spirit and how they kept on fighting even with them being Forsaken by GaoGod. I loved how White actually inspired them to fight the orgs and snapped Yellow, Blue, and Black out of their depressions. I also enjoyed Red's speech against Rasetsu about the human spirit and how they can fix their mistakes. I enjoyed that Silver wanted to stay and help his friends from this world; also that he came in a kicked the shit out of the Tin Org like he was nothing and felt like the powerful Sixth Ranger again. Also I loved that the GaoRangers lent their hearts to Gao Silver and GaoHunter to create GaoHunter Blue Moon and that GaoGod wanted to fight with him was just totally awesome. This reignited my GaoSpirit after the last episode hurt it. I can't wait for the final 10 episodes I have left. I also like the fact that GaoGod tested them even though it was truly a harsh test, and I figured he was the one who revived White, Yellow, Blue, and Black. This series is awesome so far. |
Well just remember one thing though, Gao God > Animus

So, I've been watching on the Gingaman batch from MFC and I've been enjoying it though I'm only 6 or 7 episodes in. I kind of love these cheesy villains. It's nice to see the main villain get into the dirty work in the first episode. Helps that Captain Zahab is somewhat badass. On the Ranger side of things, I like most of them pretty well. I'd hope to get to a Hayate focus episode soon though. I still don't like the mecha design. I didn't like it in Lost Galaxy and I don't like it here. At least they took more time to form GinGai Oh here. PS The horses have Gingaman themed armor and it's hilarious looking. And apparently there's toys of them. |
Just started watching Go-Onger, not bad so far. Anki and Miu are super badass.
Also, Sentai recommended Goseiger and i finished that. Goseiger now might be in my top 3 sentai now, soooo much amazingness! |
Just watched Episode 1 of Go-Busters. Seems interesting, definitely gonna keep watching.

I rather torn between Zyu and Dai. Zyu tends to have a more split opinion concerning the child of the day thing, but I wasn't super into Dai when I started to watch it...

Finished Akibaranger Season Tsuu, now 42 episodes into Kyoryuger.

I am having the hardest time watching Magiranger. For some reason, that season just isn't piquing my interests. I am going to keep watching, but this is tough.

Honestly, the villains are the main reason to enjoy the show as they are awesome due to their ties to mythology and HP Lovecraft. |

It's not set in stone, but that's most likely gonna be the order. |

Still watching Kakuranger. I´m nine episodes in and I´m liking it so far. From the Sugimura shows I´ve seen this is already my favorite.
|
Was gonna watch Dairanger, but then I lost internet before I could download it, so I decided to continue Kakuranger. Made it to episode 13, and now the files are getting screwed up.
The GUIS+HS files work fine, but the solo GUIS files not so much... |
Just watched Carranger episode 26. Those who have not please watch.
|
Watched Kakuranger up to episode 16 and it is a really really awesome show. The Characters are all pretty likeable even though they are just a bunch of slackers. maybe I can just relate very well to that :lol
The Show is now starting to move away a bit from its comedic tone and is getting more and more serious without it feeling to halfassed. The transition feels very natural and you can tell that this is an intentional development and not some execs trying to push the show to be more like something Dairanger or Jetman were. |
Man Gaim is so hyped that he is actually starting to pop up in twenty year old tv shows :lolol
http://i1362.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2d156054.png In all honesty though, Kakuranger is damn awesome. That show is really something special and is cloese to becoming by absolute favorite sentai. There is not a single character in this show I dont like. The Villains are awesome, the designs are awesome, the fights are awesome and pretty much everything is awesome. Its a really good superher show with lots of social commentary and overall very creative ideas. |
Damn, Kakuranger is so amazing. Easily second best Sentai for me~

I myself am marathon-ing Carranger. |
Yeah, KakuRanger is my second favorite Sentai for a reason. I think there are maybe only three episodes I do not care for in the entire series.
|
Kakuranger is just addicting. I do hate how half of the files I have don't flipping work, though >>
I love Junior, though. He's hitting that balance of over the top to keep with the show's general tone, but still rather threatening in that he's not a raging idiot :lol |
So I finished Blade, good series. Thought I'd start on Ryuki next, watched the first two episodes and not really finding the urge to go back yet.

To late, gonna go with Dairanger. Always loved the Thunder zords as a kid and I really like that opening theme tune. Maybe I'll go for Carranger next time.
|
I loved Dairanger. It was actually the 2nd Senati season I watched, following Jetman. I've finished 17 already, in other words, whatever's been fully dubbed and available to me. I generally try to watch the oldest available season to me, since those are the ones that are of most interest to me, but it's not a concrete thing.
In order then, I've seen: Jetman, Dairanger, Zyuranger, Shinkenger, Liveman, Goseiger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Boukenger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Maskman, Gokaiger, Sun Vulcan, Hurricanger, Megaranger, and Go-Busters. The ones that are of the most interest to me are generally the ones from the late 80s/early 90s, which is about the time I was a little kid. |
Holding off on CarRanger is smart since Haro will probably not be done when you finish Dai yet. They have really gotten great and speeding out episodes, but there are still weeks between them. They will do episodes for like four weeks straight then stop for a month. Do another three to five weeks and then a few week break. Thankfully though, they only have 12 episodes to go.
