I love how it ended. I know a lot of people are griping about it, but I think the ending was perfect and fitting.

Now what fandom am I going to define myself with?

Just because the show’s over doesn’t mean you still can’t keep your Princess Celestia theme going.

Hell, I switched back over to the artwork of myself as a MLP character I made years ago on a MLP character creator on DeviantArt as my avatar on Discord, plus I keep it as my avatar on Twitter too.

I think the g4 is going to continue in the comics.

I think I stopped watching after season 7. I haven't seen the film yet. 9 seasons for a kid's cartoon is quite successful. Impressive too, especially for a reboot. I think it's the longest running continuous series for the franchise.

Definitely recommend the movie.

I'm surprised that the show even lasted this long. MLP was a huge thing from 8-5 years ago and it seem to die down after 2014.

There's a difference from no longer being omni present to dying down.
While it was no longer the fad thing to be a fan of, the fanbase was still ever present.

That's how Power Rangers could be summed up post MMPR. A show could lose it's luster or die down in popularity but the fans will always be there. I feel bad for MLP though because the media went hardcore into demonizing fans making sound like all male/adult male fans are perverts and trying to scare little girls away from the franchise because the show grew outside its demographic. Adult women like Power Rangers (since 1993) but the media didn't go after it for that reason. Anyways sad to see it go but it seems about the right time to go. It was successful and left it's mark on pop culture.

Probably because Men have a bad stigma of liking stuff that is not made for them. MLP is a show for 5 year old girls and people will find it creepy that an adult male in their 30s watching the show seriously. I think adult women liking a show for 5 year old boys like Power Rangers may not be as creepy because there is not many out there. I think MLP is a fun show for everyone, but some people over hype the show a bit too far when it comes to writing and characters.
