Now that i think about it i've never actually played the card game, i know i've collected the cards from every set in gen 3 and the beginning of gen 4 but i stopped until the beginning of Gen 6. So it's not a rabbit hole for me.

I just want to have the Gardevoir line of cards. And i like how the cards themselves look.

I learned how to play from the gameboy color game and I thought it was inferior to Yu-Gi-Oh in my 10 year old opinion. Now I could less about the card games

I used to have the whole Torchic line when i was little, then i was scamed into trading my holographic Blaziken for a common Ekans... I don't remember what compelled my 7 year old self to do that. If i could go back in time i would slap myself.

Back in my day it was shiny charizard/dark charizard that were the target of scammers. Ahh good times...

The card game is addictive though. I got back into at the start of the year thanks to my cousin. We both collected as kids but never really played (or if we did we made it up as we went along) This time though we had quite a few matches and started playing online. It just sucks that like all card games, it boils down to about 3 decks/strategies that people use. That and I think I have a good deck ( at least good enough to beat my cousin (or friends too if we're talking yugioh) and then get my ass absolutely handed to me by a 10 year old online =p

Anyway... I really should work on finishing my new team...

Ah, the Pokemon TCG. Just 2 years ago I was so hooked I bought hundreds, maybe thousands worth in cards and barely played them. I just wanted the EX cards. :D

Go to the eShop and download the patch. It should be automatically downloaded to your game.
You'll know if you have it when, at the main menu (The Continue/New game screen), you'll see "Version 1.2" at the bottom.

Yeah I did once. I should kindly inform you guys that the odds in the latest set Legendary Treasures of getting Full Arts and EX cards have increased exponentially! Back when a whole box of cards would nab around 3-4 EX's and 1-2 Full Arts at best has now changed to 15+ EX's/Full Arts! It's a decent chance and worth getting now. I just got my Emolga Full Art and it is lovely. :D

A toast to Maya! A real trooper of a shiny Pokemon, winning me a battle against a japanese player, they are hard to beat, it doesn't help that shinies go down easily and she managed to deal the finishing blows. It was awesome.

A solid defense against Ground Types. There's a reason Water is one of the higher ranked Types.

I used to have a surfing Pikachu on my main team in Platinum, it was an awesome team.

Just added a bunch of Friend Codes from the friend code/gamer tag thread.
Mostly just the ones on pages 1 and 2.

So why isn't my friend list in the PSS any bigger? It's still just OOO, conundrum and Matrixbeast. One of the codes I added was Klonoahedgehog's, but I don't see him pop up. Then again he still has to register mine, but ZeoRangerV already has and I don't see his avatar thingy on the PSS. Is it because he has Y instead of X or something?

Did you make sure your game was online?
Lots of people still get that confused. The 3DS may be connected, but the game itself might not be.

Does the game/internet connection thing go both ways? After all, I said Zeo already registered me and I just registered him but he's not popping up in the PSS.

Episode 8 of Pokemon the series XY.
Okay i'm starting to dislike Bonnie. Her and Clemont's running gag is just a reverse Brock and it's kind of annoying, but other than that i still think this is the strongest series of the anime.

Also James using Inkay made me think, in the anime's universe how do you think Inkay evolves?

Also this episode made me want to train a furfrou. Is it worth it?
