They have been working on the game for a while now, so I have hope that it will be good. I see people upset that it's Generations 2 than Adventure 3, Heroes 2 or Colors 2.

Lost World was Colors 2.

Shadow was pretty much Heroes, or rather, Heroes was the prequel to Shadow. Also it doesn't need a sequel.

And 06 was pretty much Adventure 3.

Yet if you say Sonic 06 was Adventure 3, fans will get angry at you. A lot of people still want Adventure 3.

They don't want to accept reality.

It has all the makings of an adventure title, it was just rushed to store shelves, it f*cking Adventure 3, i am a sonic fanboy and i will admit this.

That depends entirely on which fans you talk to.

Case in point.

Adventure 3 had been in demand since Adventure 2. 06 was, in a lot of ways, an attempt to merge Adventure and Heroes-style gameplay ( the Amigos system), and was for all intents and purposes, Adventure 3 by a different name. The same applies to Unleashed. I don't think we'll ever see another actual Adventure title, but we've had parts of it mixed in with other games as of late. The only thing really unique to them was the hub worlds, which- yep, 06, Unleashed, and Generations all had.

Sonic Mania looks great too. Mania looks like what Sonic 4 should have been (A real 16 bit sequel).
