I am not a big fan of her Sentai work. I liked Riku Sanjou from Kyoryuger and KR Drive, I'd love him to do this.

Oh No! I thought Drive was NOT that Bad but Kyoryuger was a mess!

He made the show TOO MUCH RED-CENTRIC SHOW! And Daigo was Marty Stu. He was too perfect! I am so glad Riku Sanjo is taking a break from writing Toku Show in order to write his Manga thing

Don't let that man touch Kyuranger!

Yasuko Kobayashi is also working on the second season of Attack on Titan next year, so I think we can maybe rule her out of the running.

Riku Sanjo's manga is on hiatus again but there is that "wait until Spring 2017 for a big announcement" message he left with readers with so...that could be anything. The return of the manga or even a new anime. (which would require less of his involvement)

That said, Sanjo claimed he was taking a break from TV writing at the end of Drive, I wonder if a year and a half away from it would have been enough of a break for him.

Why would Toei want Riku Sanjo to write Kyuranger? He doesn't know to handle the team! He treated Other Kyoryugers as Daigo's sidekicks than his comrades!

The reason of why Kyoryuger failed because most of their episodes were written by Riku Sanjo by himself! That's how Faiz failed because most of their episodes were written by Toshiki Inoue by himself!

I don't want a show where most of their episode were written by One Writer! It just doesn't work! I know Amazons which I believe most of their episodes were written by Yasuko Kobayashi but that show was longer than any show!

Kyoryuger didn't fail. It was the most successful Sentai in over 10 years. People enjoyed the characters (at least in Japan) and it was a hugely successful year for Sentai.

Oh really? Daigo was Marty Stu! He was too much perfect and Amy suddenly end up become his girlfriend for NO Hinted at it! Some fans even called Kyoryuger, "Daigo Sentai Kingranger"

Successful? I heard their toy sale was worst than Go-Busters' Toy Sale!

I heard they actually exceeded Go-busters during 3Q and annual sales surpassed Gokaiger.
And 200,000 Kyoryujin were sold until summer of 2013.

I'm not sure where you heard this, but that's not the case.

Kyoryuger sold 14.0 billion yen. Super Sentai during Go-Busters sold 9.6 billion yen, and this is with three Sentai toy lines in that year. (Go-Busters, Akibaranger, and the continued Gokaiger keys)

There are literally only two Sentai that have recorded better sales, Gaoranger at 14.5 billion yen and Ohranger at 15.9 billion yen.

Vin, just because you didn't like Kyoryuger didn't mean that it wasn't a success. And what is it with you and that show anyway? We get it, you hate kyoryuger, you bring it up every other post.

Time to move on man.
