Hasbro needs to start Kamen Rider dubs now.

One I can think of to add to the list is theme song artist. I am curious who will take over that duty as I bring it up.

Note that this is the special "Hybridrise Figure" set, which is being released as a figure and parts for all five forms all at once. It doesn't look like it's compatible with the normal Zero-One RKF. I also can't tell if it's got the same articulation? The picture's pretty small so it's meaningless to say at this point but I'm not seeing any torso or elbow joints.

It's a cool idea to handle the form changes as a one-off figure so they don't have to compromise the articulation or anything for the rest of the figures in the line, but if it ends up as a 5POA thing it may suck. We'll see, I guess.

No. That would be an adaptation. Dub would be English voices over the Japanese footage. Like with anime.

I would prefer subs if I didn't understand it, but I speak Japanese so I'm ok with watching it live or online. When they do dubs for American movies here, it can be terrible.

I don't need americans to dub Kamen Rider, what I need from american corporations is to stay away from this.

Yes, it would be cool if Kamen Rider was internationally known, but not from american companies, especially not them.

Things would get censored with what's happening there.
Kamen Rider would be criticized because there are no female lead and so on and so on.

Japan is not the US, and the US tends to force their vision of the world into everything they touches...

So no, sorry if I'm being political, but currently the US need to stay away from Kamen Rider or anything that is remotely close to the Japanese culture or any foreign culture for that matter.

So what you're saying is that Valkyrie's existence alongside Poppy being popular enough to get her own Ridewatch from an official popularity poll from Bandai isn't because Japan wanted more women in KR too? An adaptation/official sub or dub wouldn't be bad at all depending if it's done well or not and as seen with Power Rangers, while there are examples of it being done wrong, there's also plenty of examples of it being done right

I'm on the opposite end of this. I honestly don't really mind the risk of 'butchering' any given Rider series. I just want to see how the show gets adapted, it's really fun to see differences and see how adapted footage gets repurposed for the story. Hell, even a 'butchering' would still be interesting to me to see how it happened.

So yes, I would wholeheartedly welcome Power Rider or whatever such an adaptation would be named.

Dubbing and "adapting" are two different things, so far, Ryuki has been adapted the way Sentai was and it was awful.

Also, why are you talking about female characters when I'm talking about censoring? This has nothing to do with what I'm saying.

I'm against an official dub because american dubbing of japanese stuff tend to be awful, ( I'm looking at most anime like Dragon Ball, the ghibli movies and so on)

Also, we are past the "adapting this thing to an US audience because they wouldn't like the original idea", this is also an idea that must stop.

The only thing I would like to see, is an official sub. ( Mind you, I'm like this for american stuff aswell, they are poorly dubbed in French so I watch it in OG version with english sub...)
