It comes down to the technology of delivering an accurate representation of a character without too many stickers required for color accuracy- at price of less than about $40. Gunpla retains such a great value proposition because Bandai already owns the rights to Gundam (Sunrise studios being a subsidiary). Even though they have a good relationship with Toei, Kamen Rider plastic model kits are still subject to license costs. |
I hope they continue to do well and expand. While I have loved them, so far they only release about 4 riders a year plus one or two Premium-bandai recolours -- so I'd love to see more content, especially with how cheap these are.

I really hope the line continues to grow too. I might be an incompetent doof when it comes to building them, but I do legit like these, and I think the Riders have definitely been the best kits when it comes to the FSR series.

Right, I’ve got till Sunday to decide between W, Build and Ex-Aid. I’m leaning to Ex-Aid but also really like W and Build.

Team Rider is actually doing a contest on their IG and Twitter right now for a chance at winning a free copy of CycloneJoker if anyone wants to enter.
