Anyone know when Ami Ami plans to send their payment for Guyver Unit 1 yet?

Ask again come Winter Wonderfest in 2015. That'll probably be the next time those get an update.

GSC still haven't announced a release date for it, so it'll either be at the end of the month or possibly delayed until next month. Can't really say until the dates are up their website.

Its in January. And yes the cards were revealed the beginning of this year, but that means nothing. You know how Japanese toy companies work.

Wonderfest reveals are the worst. They tease stuff and then it's all in the dark till the next show. While I'm glad Lucina is finally coming out we've been waiting on her since 2012 now.

Makes me glad I have nothing vested in them right now. Got my hand full trying to get Thor, let alone Cap & Iron Man.

The Figma Sakura got a release date unusually quick, they're pretty obviously afraid of letting Bandai get to the market first (even though I think most people would have waited for their version anyway).

I'm not a fan of a lot of what they've been doing lately. Too many expensive releases, exclusive parts, constant delays and FigFix variants.

I am excited for Lucina and Snake though and I think the Figma Horse could be used for some really cool things too.

Does the horse have any sort of tentative release date yet? it's been floating around for so long now so I'm finding it harder and harder to get excited about it :lol

Kahotan said it would be by the end of the year, which is the only reason I'm paying attention to it now. I think the anime style they gave it is much better than the more realistic version they showed off before too.

Hold on, I'm more interested in what's gong on to the side of the horse. I recognize the display as being for those upcoming gun-use Figma hands from Little Armory... But is that an AA-12 right above the sign?!

Is there going to be a GSC online exclusive version of her too? I'm cautious about pre-ordering with amiami til I find out.

So she IS coming out in April? Man GSC are just getting crazy now. Kinda wish she was June, because her and Snake in one month is expensive...

Doesn't look like it. There's no mention of extra parts on her official GSC page.

I wasn't going to buy her because I don't actually play FE and my only connection to her is through Smash Bros.

But ah, what the heck? She looks fantastic. Pre-ordered. Money is for chumps anyway.

I got my Thor in today! He's really nice, on my off days I'll spend more time posing him. Though I'm still stumped on if I installed the cape right. It's not like the photos on the box. There was one YouTube reviewer did say you'd run into cape issues, but he managed it, going by his photos. I dunno, I'll hash it out or cope. Anyhoo, happy to have a Figma/Figuarts style Thor in my modest collection.

Anyone else got their Guyver yet? It looks like I may have to wait until January to get mine. I hear a lot good things of the figure and can't wait to own it. It will be my first Figma and I never own the Max Factory figures because they were so much money to buy.

If you're going with EMS, its cheaper to just order straight from GSC with their flat 2000 yen shipping compared to N-Y's rather expensive shipping charges. N-Y is charging 1860 for EMS and 1190 for SAL registered. It's probably just a plain better deal to go with GSC on this one considering their awesome customer service as well.

What's this N-Y you all speak of?

I got my first Figma ever today with Takane. Gotta say, not bad. The foot system is going to take some getting lose to, and I won't lie the looseness of some of the hands is a little sad, but not too saddening. Overall I really like her and I'm glad I picked her out. Of course it didn't take more then a minute out of the packaging for me to turn Takane from a shy and reserved girl into a sarcastic sassy one.

So, while I was rearranging my shelf, Nanoha took a bit of a fall and broke her left pigtail off at the ball joint. This is what I get for buying her used for less than 1000 Yen.

Ah well, a replacement is going to have to wait a long while. I really can't go and make any excess orders for the next few months.

It's not even a matter of being used, I've heard tons of stories of Nanoha and Fate breaking, GSC hadn't really perfected the art of pigtails back then.

Any way to fix it?

I know Wave makes third party joints for modelers, you might be able to find a ball joint that can fit the pig tails. It'll be cheaper than buying a whole nother figure for sure:
