A fighter isn't the same as a Musou game, though.
It gets to be a pain when you need to beat Devil Gundam on hard with the f*cking Maxter just to get the Epyon.
At 11, and at 22, pulling that off is still annoying as hell...

Devil is annoying in every Video Game he's in. He's the Batman/Aizen of Gundam.

You know that if you put in a few hours on multiplayer it will get your readiness up. Although at the end of the day it really doesn't matter. The endings are not very different no matter what you do. Have you downloaded the extended cut ending DLC?

Don't have Gold so multiplayer isn't an option. And I'm playing with the extended cut DLC.

I see. It is a little hard without multiplayer because you can get a bunch of permanent bonuses to the number. I had so much when I finished it wasn't even funny. I think if you max out the side missions properly you can still bet there.

Playing through Dream, Drop, Distance like 7 times this past year since launch then going back to RE:Coded feels so wrong. I'm so used to flowmotion that it's uncomfortable playing it.

Had a sudden urge to pop Skyrim back in. That should keep me occupied till I get Tales of Xillia on Tuesday.

So, I want to unlock Dark/Devil Gundam in Battle Assault 2.
To first do that, I need to play VS against a computer 20 times, each with a different character. That's easy.
...Wait, the game only starts you with 12 characters. Alright, on to Story mode to unlock more!
Defeating it with RX-78 nets me Acguy and Ball, Burning/God gets me GP0-2A, and Maxter nets me Bolt for VS. Nice, only 4 more to go. Deathscythe Hell gets me Heavy Arms C, and Wing gets me the Hygoog. Sweet, got 6, only 2 left!
...Oh, I'm out of characters for Story? Wait, if I play on Hard, I unlock more characters for Story! Alrighty!
Winning with Burning on Hard unlocks Master for Story, RX-78 on Hard unlocks Zaku IIS for story, and with Deathscythe H and Wing on Hard gets me the Tallgeese III for story!
...Now what?
Oh, win with them on Hard now, too? Oh...Okay...
Well, Zaku IIS unlocked himself and Zeong for Versus Mode. Awesome! Now I just need to fight the computer in Versus 20 times with everyone!
...Oh, now I need to beat Story one more time to unlock Dark? Fine...

And that's what I'm doing right now. I'm currently working on the "Tallgeese III for Story" part. I hate the lengths some fighting games had you going just to unlock characters 10 years ago. Kills my fun by having me grinding on the hardest difficulty just to get one or two characters...I know why they did it, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

Just started playing Pikmin 3, it's fun! Just got through the first day and i have no idea what i'm doing. XD

I like Brittany already, she's a funny character.

Mass Effect 3: Beat the game. I can understand the anger, but I didn't think the ending was that bad.

Pikmin 3 might be the only game beyond the upcoming Smash 4 that makes me want a Wii U.
If they release a new F-Zero or Custom Robo on the Wii U, too, then I'm gonna have to buy one, without second thought.

I don't think it was the quality of the ending explicitly, but the fact that people were quick to realize the 4 (Was it 4?) possible endings were all the same with minor bits added or removed depending on some choices, making things nebulous and the statements about "All your choices matter!" made during the first two games something of a lie.

Yeah. I mostly enjoyed the ending but they were all basically the same and most of the stuff you did had no impact in the end. It's fine if they want to have an official ending for the story they created but they shouldn't have given you options at the end if they were all going to be 95% the same no matter which one you picked.

Just beat a very difficult boss in Pikmin 3. A moment of silence for all the Steve's lost in the battle.

I also finished Kingdom Hearts 3D, this game marks as my favorite KH game with RE:Coded as my second favorite. Though it feels like they put effort in some worlds where in places like Pranksters paradise it feels like they got lazy.

I went in knowing my choices wouldn't have much impact, so that may explain why it didn't bother me as much as it should have.

I got stuck on Pikmin 3. When i found Louie i got excited, but he ends up taking your supplies which means your on a limited time. There's a boss that's like a huge rock,plant with legs and it killed all my blues.

That is how most games are. I think people got upset because the Mass Effect series was advertised as you creating the story for yourself in many ways. Especially that you could screw it all up if you made bad choices. Like in Mass Effect 2 you could die if you didn't do it right. With the 3rd game they just didn't know how to close it off while maintaining that promise. I still liked the game but it could have done better at the end.

I absolutely loved that about ME2, it's by far my favorite of the series and that is a strong reason why. It made you want to play on the hardest difficulty, it made you want to work hard to make sure every member of your team survived the suicide mission. ME3 was.. it was just a huge let down on all fronts.

I got Tales of Xillia today.

If you played Graces, they kept the CC system but it plays a lot closer to a classic Tales of game. Opening part does get a little weird because there's some gaps that aren't filled out, due to the fact that you'll also need to play Jude's story too.

Overall, I'm enjoying this more then I did Graces. The Press Select events continue to be some of the best parts of the game. :lol

Borrowed Last of Us from my brother, because he was going to trade it in but I saved it. No, I'm not giving it back :lol

Just trying to increase my forces on Pikmin 3 because there's a tough boss i'm stuck in. He killed my entire army in one fell swoop.

Picked up Prototype 2 from the local used game shop. I was a big fan of the first one (after all, how many games let you Rider Kick a helicopter? :P)

Sequel's mostly fun, has a lot of the same good controls and power combos as the first but it also seems less fulfilling without the variety of side quests and extra options for powers.

PS4 is coming with a Vita. Headset.. Handheld Console... Yea, sorry. I'm going for the console, not the headset that's only good to listen to twelve year olds and stoners use homophobic slurs while insulting my mother. I went through High School once, thanks though. Not looking to do it again.

There've been reports it's showing up on different store listings by employees, but there hasn't been an official Sony announcement. If they do it they have my money.

It depends though. Rumor has it it will not be available at the time of launch for the PS4, and I am not going to wait on the Vita bundle. This is something they should have announced at E3 and had it ready in time.
