Nobunaga's Desire just serves to remind how bad this series could have been if it was written/directed by someone else...

Well, I've achieved my goal of completing Kabuto before the end of July. I am left with nothing but questions.

• If Mizushima Hiro can speak perfect (and pretty sexy) English, then why did they have him butcher what I can only assume was French? Who even goes to France to buy tofu?
• What exactly happened to Kageyama? I think Yaguruma Rider Kicked him because he was becoming a Native, but did he die? And wouldn't he have just become human again if he threw off that necklace, or if he waited for Kabuto to stop the worms?
• What exactly were the Natives, anyways? Were they a different breed of the worms, humans who had become worms, or just people who were born to worm parents?
• Why did Tendou ask for the Hoppers' help, instead of Drake's, or better yet, just given the TheBee Zecter to Kageyama? There's no doubt he'd come crawling back.
• What exactly was the out of control switch? The fact that Kabuto and Gatack would have to keep fighting worms is fine, but I don't see how that'd help them if all of humanity became worms. And why only Kabuto and Gatack?
• How does electrocuting a giant potato and Dark Kabuto turn everybody into a worm again?
• What exactly did Hyper Clock Up do? Did it stop time completely, or was it just a tad faster than Clock Up?

And I never got my synced up henshin scene. Boo.

another one of my main problems of kabuto, it solves absolute d*ck!
1. he got a rider kick to the face, he aint comin back. he didnt know it was the necklace, he probly expected it to be like tsurugi.
2. the first meteorite to hit earth, 7 years ago, thats were they came from
3.cause that would expect something from drake, hed probly say, f*ck the world im doin makeup
4. no clue
5. no clue
6. it makes people in clock up move like a normal person during regualr clock up

and theres still a million other question marks!

example: kabuto tried to go with the idea of racism with the native thing, then just said f*ck it both species are evil

ya i guess, though insted of the fact that it should be kamen rider gatack, i kinda like the idea. ive always wanted to see a series were its through a supporting character or secondary riders eye. that i think would be an interesting idea.

So is God Speed Love any good, or should I avoid it like it's Movie War Core?

It's actually pretty solid. It's AU, so it doesn't answer any questions you may have had after the series, but it's fine (I found it much more enjoyable than "I'm Born" or whatever Kiva's movie was called).

i think it was pretty good, and thats coming from a kabuto hater, it actually gives a backstory of how he got the belt that the series did not >: (

I'm Born (Ore tanjou) was the Den-O movie. The Kiva move was that terrible King of Hell's Castle nonsense.

I know, I'm saying that God Speed Love was more enjoyable than I'm Born and Kiva's movie, I just didn't remember it's title x3

And I actually still think that Ore Tanjou is one of the better in continuity rider films. The time travel aspect of it is brilliant because they drop hints from it's plot for like 3 episodes leading up to the movie and it directly led to the birth of Climax Form in the series.

That was it. I found it boring and forgettable. That's why I didn't outright call it "Bad", because it wasn't, I'm just saying God Speed Love is more enjoyable.

I'm Born ties in with the series decently, yes, but outside Wing Form, I didn't really find myself getting pumped as I watched it.

how bout that and it has an AWESOME looking evil rider, though nothing can beat the awesomeness that is eternal characterwise and lookwise :D

Eh, honestly, I think W Returns: Eternal proved that he really didn't have enough character to carry a movie...

goah, i thought eternal returns was awesome, not really a kamen rider movie, to me it was kinda like a concentration camp, plus an evil eyes monster :lol

I loved the Eternal movie. I thought it had a good story and some nice action. Eternal himself is still kind of dull, but I really grew to like some of the NEVER guys, especially Genki Sudo and Minase Yashiro's characters. Plus a full movie full of Minase Yashiro in hot pants is always good, too. ;)

Eh. I guess it has to do with my indifference towards NEVER. Their existence seems to only be for movies to get made, and I just don't enjoy following them.

Yes, God Speed Love is good. I'd place it as my 3rd favorite Rider movie. It fills in some plot holes of Kabuto and has a better climax than the show.

Also, only the OOOs segment of Movie War Core should be avoided. Message From Skull (W's segment) is awesome that should be watched. This is why Skull needs his footage re-edited into a stand alone movie. It also takes place before the Accel movie if you haven't seen it (the Accel movie is awesome too). And if you haven't seen W...what's wrong with you? :p

The best way to watch Movie War Core is to skip the first 40 mins. (the OOOs segment assuming you watch the director's cut. Otherwise the timing is off) and enjoy some Skull awesome.


Minase Yashiro is so HAWT! I swear this is the only reason the Eternal movie was made.

It's an okay movie. Of W's movies (assuming I'm only counting the W segments of the crossovers) it's my least liked. That's not saying a lot though because W has great movies...as long as other Main Riders aren't there.

It's actually near the top for me. A to Z and Begins Night are definitely better, but I like Eternal more than Accel or the Skull one.

W Returns: Accel is leagues ahead of Eternal, IMO.

Simply put: I liked Akiko.
I was the only person to like Akiko, ever. :I

It gave great character moments with Terui, his upgrade wasn't just Accel: SUPER Trial mode, and it was just an enjoyable movie overall.

This. Accel continued the story in a logical way. Eternal, while okay, kind of forces Eternal to be a "good guy."

Also, Accel had something I never (no pun intended) thought I'd see in Kamen Rider: awesome untransformed gunplay.

While I'm not that big on Akiko, she was completely justified in this movie. She married Terui and Terui hasn't even touched her. Seriously, they couldn't have even consummate their union yet. So yeah, Akiko is horny and paranoid that her husband doesn't like her. seeing Terui with another woman doesn't help either. Basically, I'm saying Terui is dumb as a brick in this movie. :p


PS For the record, W's movies go in the following orde for me: A to Z, Accel, Message From Skull, Begins Night, and finally Eternal. None of which are bad, but again only if we are ignore the rest of the Movie Wars movies.

I don't think you quite understood it...
It's a common story in English superhero stories as well, you know.

Plus, Kamen Rider and Sentai have a lot of the same tropes as American TV (especially the superhero ones).

Personally I watch Japanese TV (Toku and Anime) because I'll at least get an ending to what I watch (most of the time). Any American show I like has a 50% chance of the show just stopping or ending on a cliffhanger to the point that I've become jaded.

I only watch Toku because I abhor anime design choices and story telling in anime is generally rather uninteresting to me.

I love anime...just not today's anime. To many high school comedies and magical girl crap. I just can't stand most of today's anime. That's how I ended up watching Toku (well, that and Power Rangers was dead at the time).

On the other hand, 80's and 90's anime are filled with awesome (and it's own kind of crap, but mostly awesome).
