They dont reinvent the wheel with the Villain motif but it gets the job done :lol

I'm still going to be cautious of this series,but the more I see of it the better.The mecha looks a lot better on the show and in motion.The suits still look bland,but work as a whole.I still am meh about the way they henshin.I completely adore the villains,i think theyre perfect.

It says to me they could be serious about trying out new combinations in future sentai seasons. If they kept pink ToQ 1go in show and out of the hand off then not so much... but they put him in!

I know that is the gimmick, but why exclusively pink and why just for a few seconds without context? If I was a kid, I'd be confused as hell and just assume it was a trick of the light or something. At least if they cycled through all the colours it'd give a better idea for someone without context.

They only had 10 seconds or so for the whole hand-off, so there probably wasnt time for all 5. They probably just chose Pink because its the first time we've seen a Pink male outside Gokaiger. The ToQger have probably been exposed to the gimmick via advertising too, or if not theres only one week before its all laid out.

But oh man, Ive been behind on Kyoryuger! I didn't realize 48 was the finale! Now I'm sad.

48ish is pretty standard for Super Sentai really. the last two shows just spoiled us by having 50+.

This was posted to the frontpage a few days back. Though it hadn't been uploaded to youtube at the time.

Not entirely true. There have only been four series to have 48 episodes, Fiveman, OhRanger, CarRanger, and now Kyoryuger. Kyoryuger wasn't really cut short, its just that this year had some additional breaks we haven't seen in a while, plus, if I recall, Kyoryuger even started later than normal because Go-Buster started a week later than they usually did. Tokkyuger now puts everything back on track as far as timing goes.

Now we have had a bunch of 49 episode shows.

Either way, the length a Sentai series is is usually dictated by how many weeks it actually airs over the course of 52. IF something happened that caused the show to not air for 5 weeks on top of the usual 2-3 absent weeks, we would probably see a series be 45 episodes unless they pull something like Gokaiger did to get in its 51st episode.

As for Tokkyuger, I've decided I am giving it 5 episodes to impress me. If I am not hooked by episode 5, I am going to just rewatch a series I like instead or try out one that has been fansubbed that I have not seen before.

Kyoryuger ended. I know when I watch the sub I'm going to be an emotional wreck, and I want to be happy. I already like Madam Noa, and the Deisel-Oh alone and it's combined form with Amtrak-Oh. But I need convinced to watch the first episode.

This is about where I'm at. Normally I'd give it closer to ten, like Kyoryuger, but I'm so iffy on this show's overall aesthetic that I'm probably going to be a lot less patient with it.

Has Over-Time announced whether they intend to sub TQG yet?

From what I understand, and I don't know how reliable this is, TV-Nihon might not be. I think OT is.
