Police and Fire Ressha both look amazing and tons of fun. I'd want them even not knowing what the final combination is like.

Police gives off a strong SPD vibe.

Den O Ressha has clips on the side like Green and blue ressha. Yay more crazy combinations.

So apparently HLJ are still asshats, but with a silver lining. They appear to have randomly included the Rainbow Ressha with Diesel orders. No apparent pattern to how or why but the order I made with Sentai Tamashii included ours magically.

Very jealous! I had my orders cancelled on the last two Rainbow Ressha I saw pop up on Mandarake. :cry

So how does the whole Ressha gig work then? Had no real interest in the merch of this show at all - although I'm enjoying this show a lot - but that old man giant robot is something I'd really love to own but I've never bought DX - need me a DX Ace badly - and never bought anything from this line. So n00b here.

The DX Ressha work in the changer to create sounds. They can also form combinations with ToQ-Oh and Diesel-Oh (mainly swapping legs and arms)

The Gashapon and Candy Toy (SG) Ressha work in the changer but do NOT have the ports and clips to combine with the DX mecha (so no ToQ-Oh for joo)

Some of the DX ressha were role-play toy exclusives. The shield ressha came with the TOQ-Buckle, the Scope Ressha came with the blaster and the Energy Ressha came only with the Bazooka (formed by all their weapons). So far, I haven't seen any of them sold separately.

You either buy Tank Ressha, Car Carrier Ressha and Diesel Ressha seperate or you can try and get the DX Diesel-Oh Set.

It's not awful, but I'm not convinced it's good.

This is the first time Bandai's ever let me down with its Sentai Mecha. Don't get me wrong, there have been bad figures before, like the Manticore Megazord, but I was actually looking forward to Diesel-Oh.

I kinda like Cho ToQ-Oh, but Diesel-Oh by himself... Maybe he'll grow on me with time, but right now I just can't take him seriously.

I agree. Diesel-oh alone is super blocky and awesome. Cho is where it's at!

It should be two weeks or so.

If he were just blocky that'd be fine. I'm down with the chunk. But he's so... flat, and his arms won't go down far enough to look relaxed. He looks like that one character on Family Guy, Seamus Levine, who has two peg legs and two peg arms.

I don't know. Maybe I'll see if I can open up his arm ratchets and give them some extra range.

I really need to grab a Diesel Ressha at some point. Although, to be fair, none of my other trains have actually arrived yet so I'm not missing much by not having purchased one yet. I need mah trains!

I'll take some pictures in a bit, but I was able to increase the downward range of motion of his arms. It's not much, but it's enough to make me not feel uncomfortable looking at him. He finally looks somewhat relaxed, which is such an improvement.

I wish BBTS listed it as In-stock.

As for a disel... I have figinstock running on it and have only seen one, which was added today and sold out in... Well pretty much straight away. So yeah, they're pretty rare still =\

Yeah, might be a bit rarer now, but they should be available soon. I know I sold a few on eBay for a nice profit, but once the demand dies down you should be good.

Previous posters are utterly correct, keep checking Mandarake, find out when they update local time and keep checking, they sell relatively fast but the deals are regular and superb.

Im just waiting to have them back in stock again. Im not paying $30 for a car carrier ressha or tank ressha. Got my Toq Oh from ebay for $51 but the shipping was $25 so i STILL ended up paying $70+ for it. I just hope we get a cluster effer this year. I got dissapointed last year and the year before. Not to mention Gokaiger but none of the final combination robos were bad. I still liked them.
