Because Nickelodeon always have their shows go through a hiatus. This time, for Power Rangers, the hiatus started at episode 8.

I was going to say "because the people in charge of Nickelodeon's scheduling are lotus-eating bonobos with a steady supply of cognac and bath salts" but that works too.

So it IS on the part of Nickelodeon. Ya know Nick used to be run by competent people. Back in the 90s when the station was good. The first show I noticed that got the Nick treatment was Invader Zim. Nick didn't even like the show so they scheduled it at crappy times on purpose and it finally went on a permanent hiatus.

I didn't think it took that long to make a Power Rangers episode seeing as half the work is already done for them. lol

It's not anything new, every show goes on a hiatus at some point in its run. Power Rangers has been doing this with both seasons of Samurai and Megaforce, and it'll only continue with Dino Charge.

As much as people like to joke around about making a Power Rangers episode, it does take a bit of time to make, shooting new footage, ADR, getting from location to location, there's a lot of work put into this, much like every Toku show.

But filming for ALL of DC has wrapped up.

I haven't watched a single PR episode on Nick outside of the first few DC, but I got behind. I did not know they had stopped at episode 8. That is realy really dumb.

I believe they've wrapped up filming even for Dino Supercharge, so the production is far ahead of schedule. At least on Saban's side, there is no delay.

What if they end up using Torin as the trope of the Monster who starts as good, then becomes evil, and that's how they introduce Mad Torin. Or perhaps he's a clone of some sort of the good monster?

New Thought: Torin is a prisoner onboard Seldge's ship. Imprisoned with his twin brother, who's evil, for a crime he was actually trying to stop. Sledge frees them both to defeat the Rangers. Torin sides with them, together they defeat his brother, Torin either dies or changes into human and becomes Silver.

That would be awesome.

Then again they called it the "Pachysaurus" despite the actual creature being called "Pachycephalosaurus." And if it was a brevity thing, Stygimoloch would have sufficed, if equally innacurate.

Eh, really I can seem him either be this one off crossover thing, or a bounty hunter for a few episodes trying to challenge Sledge. I'm honestly more excited to see how Endorf and Chaos fit in the story.

At this point I highly doubt that will happen. Theyve wrapped up filming for Dino Charge, and Dino SuperCharge. None of the MMPR cast, or Dino Thunder cast, have made any mention of traveling down to New Zealand, or even hinting it could happen.

I mean, Im all for that crossover, but we're not gettin it. Honestly Id rather it not, because then thats all everyone would talk about instead of the show itself.

I agree. If there was a Dino Thunder team-up coming then JDF'd be in it, and he'd never shut up about it.

Gotta think though, the movie had AbareBlack nor Dragon Ranger, NOWHERE near it. So any JDF Rangers would need original footage, even if we did get the movie? No way theyd spring for that. :lol

Still hoping for a Mighty Morphin team up with Dino Charge. Where's Goldar!? Bring out his old voice actor!
