Huh, you're right. That video includes a lot of fiddling around so I haven't actually watched all of it, I just jumped around to where it looked like something was actually happening, hadn't seen the first Bang Bang Shooting one. Though...that one is really weird, it's not only missing the gotcha/geccha (could honestly go either way, probably some sort of Gashat-related pun...like at first when I heard it for BBS I thought it was a "gotcha" like he Sniped them but since it's in all the others who even knows) sound but it also skips over the "Gacchan (?)! Level up!" that's also supposed to play.

So yeah...seriously no idea what's up with that.

Looked at it again - I think it's two mechanics meant for different devices. It seems to skip the "Level Up/A Gacha/etc." but do the LV3 sound if you hold down (I think) the button triggered in the second slot on the belt, and then hold down the thumb button that announces the Gashat's name. Meanwhile the normal LV3 sound is played by holding down the second slot button and then holding down the first slot button.

Maybe it's a Bugvisor thing? It works as a belt and even has a window on it to see the Gashat's display. It would be cool to make use of the LV3 sounds on the main form Gashats, which probably won't be used in the Gamer Driver on-screen, by having them play in the Bugvisor.

Huh, I hadn't even considered that. You're probably right. And...man, I hadn't even noticed that's what the screen on the Bugvisor was for. I could actually definitely see this being the case.

So there's this Gashat that was half revealed on TV-kun. I was really wondering what it could be, especially since the shape on the clear part implies it's for a base Rider form. It took me too long to realize those are pretty much the perfect colors for Ghost, and we haven't heard anything else about a Ghost Gashat but can be pretty sure one exists. Guessing this is it.

Also, downloadable MAX apparently. Good move, provided it's good. Though yeah, I don't expect that we'll be able to play it.

From the first episode we have clear images of the first 10 Gashats' game art.

Confirming that it is in fact Gekitotsu Robots and that Drago Knight Hunter is actually Drago Knight Hunter Z. So...names. Oh, and Giri Giri Chambara.

Actually not that fond of Beat, Chambara or Combat's art but hey whatevs. Do their jobs I guess. The first 5 definitely have the cooler ones though.

Interesting thing also about the episode, the same 8-character selection screens we saw in Ganbarizing and the GD ad pop out during the transformations in-show, with mystery spots. So that's...also interesting. More Rider Hype. Didn't actually count to see if they were 8 or had the same ? spots (too laggy, mostly going off pictures and the episode 2 preview) but I'm assuming it is.


Also looks like the yearly Christmas cake item is Buttobasoul medals instead of a Gashat. That is...that's good. If I ever get to a point where I feel like I need to collect them all, having as few exclusives as possible would be helpful. Was a little iffy on Buttobasoul stuff being in the show but if it means they take the place of all those random promotions they usually use transformation items for I'm kind of all for it.

Holy shit, Ex-Aid's body language seems to be VERY expressive. Considering Emu is a gamer and likely sees this as one big game, this just makes him ooze personality. I like it

I...think I've figured out what the selection screen means, now that we have the HD raw. I thought it was the same 8 character select screen with 3 mystery spots like we'd seen before, but it's not. There's 10 squares, which...may match up with the 10 Gashats? Ten seems to be a big number this time around.

There's four colored squares for the main Riders, four grayed out ones for the main Riders (which I'm pretty sure are going to be for the Level 3 Gashats/forms) and then two mystery ones. Now, that could go either way. Could be GENM and Shakariki Sports, but if they are in fact based on the Gashats then it'd be Sports and Hunter, and I guess...GENM just selects the Ex-Aid icon? The colors of the ? ones are purple and green though. So GENM and Sports seems more likely. I don't know.

I initially thought the grayed out Ex-Aid was actually just GENM, so whoops. When I first noticed it wasn't the only gray one just now I thought "wait are there gonna be proto Riders for all of them???" before realizing that'd be stupid.

So just 5 Riders I guess? But then what the heck do the 8 squares in the ads mean?

My guess is 5 Riders and the other 5 things are their Level 3 Gashats, as we know that they have Level 3 forms thanks to the toy catalogue. Lazer's the only one I'm unsure about though as I don't remember him having a Level 3 Gashat in there

Lazer does have a Level 3, Giri Giri Chambara.

It does seem likely that it's the Level 3 stuff...in which case it's just kind of weird that they'd show up in a character select thing. Considering they're still the same Riders, and also that they go to Level 1 from there. I doubt the Level 3 stuff has any effect on the Level 1 even if both Gashats are inserted at the same time. Guess we won't really know until we see a Level 3 transformation in the show.

My guess is that inserting a Level 3 just skips the transformation to Level 3. They WILL be doing this later with 2 at the very least. I also like how Level 1 isn't completely useless, making the comparison to Kabuto's Masked form justified

Huh. Looking at those Detail of Heroes scans again made me realize for the first time that on PMAX the parts that are black on the other Gashats are just purple, same as the main "body" of the Gashat. That...that's kinda lame. Actually makes me want the toy a lot less.

Who do you think Genm's true identity is? It can be either Pallad or the CEO. He's the "Takatora" of Ex-Aid.

Actually the Genm's true identity has 3 candidates: Dan, Pallad, and Graphite Bugsters (Because Graphite Bugster has Gashacon Bugvisor)

I kind of hope they milk the "who is GENM?" question for as much as it's worth. I honestly think it would be most interesting if we don't know who he is for a good while and when the dramatic reveal finally happens, it turns out to be none of the character's we'd expect.

They could even throw red herrings in there. Like our heroes discover all these clues that point toward GENM being Dan or Pallad or whatever, then all of the suspects are seen in the same room together with our evil Rider himself and the plot thickens.

But who am I kidding? He'll probably have an identity by episode 10 and will become a good guy by episode 20. :lol

The only problem with keeping GENM a mystery is that would necessitate that he never ever utter a word. It was fine in Ghost because that was just a tease, but if he's just going to walk around in Ex-Aid without saying anything it may get pretty boring...not to mention contrived. Especially if it ends up being a Bugster or someone who wouldn't have a reason to keep their identity a secret.
