The helmet situation. So under the ridge you got red. So if you have the helmet look up, you'd see the "correct" helmet.

I know this has been discussed before, but do you think Hasbro will release Megazord figures? Just thinking of getting a Kishiryuoh figure (yeah he's not adapted, yet, but Ryusoulger is obviouslt getting adapted sooner or later) makes me excited.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for Hasbro PR to be widely available in my country :cry

That trailer was very cute. Judging by the NYCC 2-pack and how they specifically call Rita's dress limited edition, I'm guessing she's going to be released alone at a later date; so I'm happy with this.

Cute idea but two things:

1) I don't shop at Gamestop. I'm not a fan of the company. I rather take my business elsewhere. I wish Hasbro would stop with the exclusives from Gamestop.

2) Lord Zedd is a previous release. I have no problem with this set for those who weren't able to get him but for those who already have him don't want to buy this just to have Rita and then stuck with two Zedds. That's a problem for the consumer. All other combos were of two unreleased figures. This is a re-release with a new figure. That's just plain greedy on Hasbro's part.

I appreciate the Rita and hope for a solo release but yeah, we've had plenty of time to purchase LC Zedd, and still can. I'm not interested in owning two Zedds.

This would have been a must buy if this came out first or Zedd looked a little different(say the Movie version). I probably won't be buying this 2 Pack.

1) Got to throw this out there: Never understood the enormous resentment toward GameStop! I'm not a hardcore gamer (yet) but I live in an area with only so many collectible/gamer options. If something is desired... many of us go where we know regardless of favoritism.

I don't see GameStop Exclusives ending anytime soon, but since I have LC Zedd, I might not cop for the high pricetag just for Rita and some accessories.

2) Rita will get an individual release! Time and fandom demands will ensure that. Hasbro hasn't had long enough to properly gauge the fans yet, so a greedy response is their first response! Throw something at the wall and see if it sticks!

Hasbro: "You didn't get Zedd the first time? We got an answer for that!"

Fandom: "Some of us have Zedd and the price is too high!"

Hasbro: "Thought you would like a Set based on an iconic plotline! Guess we'll release Rita on her own."

Fandom: "Now my Zedd will be accompanied by an affordable Rita. Might get two so I can pose one and have Perez and/or Goodson sign the other."

I think it's more likely "We're releasing her on her own later, but if you want her now then I hope you're willing to shell out double the price".

It's a marketing trick, really. They even specifically call out this Rita as somehow being different from normal with her 'limited edition dress'.

I wonder if that means this one is fabric while her individual release will be plastic?

I'm not really a gamer at all. But I do know it's not a good company to work for or buy from if you are a gamer. They cheat the customers on buybacks and returns. And the employees are barely paid and treated poorly by management/corporate. I don't want to give my money to a company that doesn't respect people.

Ugh...already have Zedd and hate that I'll need to buy another one to get Rita. That Zedd figure's not even a year old.

If the pack included something more, or was a premium, it would validate, but unfortunately Gamestop has also increased their pricing because of it's success with exclusives, so it's pointing to no for being something extra special.

Even as a kid, I hated Rita. She was goody looking and hardly what I call formidable. Zedd's always been the badguy in my book, so I'll pass on Rita, even if they make an individual release.

Despite the franchise being constantly demonized by parents over the years, there were those who believed that it was "fine" cause Rita was notoriously goofy and over-the-top and never really a threat, and that the change to Zedd was problematic cause he was much scarier and threatening, in appearance and demeanor, which is largely why early Zedd became corny-and-comedic-one-liner Zedd after a bunch of repeated losses!

Now it's possible the silver trim dress really is exclusive to this set with a single release being gold. Silver to match Zedd who is all silver.

Or it's just a joke for the video theme.

Yeah, I think the single release will be gold. I expect the trim is silver since it's celebrating the 25th (Silver) wedding anniversary.

For those complaining about the price, the website now has the 2-pack up for the proper price of $50. It being listed as $60 before was a mistake. So if you pre-ordered it at $60, make sure you aren't still being charged extra.

Interesting that the site had it at 60 when the "commercial" clearly stated 49.99, Wonder where they went wrong there.

It's a pre-order. They haven't actually paid anything yet.

If the order didn't get auto-corrected*, it's plenty easy to just cancel and make a new order.

*Which anecdotally might not happen right away. I had some other items pre-ordered on GameStop that just came out last week that experienced a price drop. I don't think the price changed in my order until it did get charged, but I got the right price in the end. But in this case, people know it's wrong, now know it's corrected, so just order again.

Nice to get more confirmation of Ranger Slayer. She's one of my BftG mains; which is why I'm also looking forward to Time Force Pink!

Likely just gonna be a remold of the MMPR Pink, but I hope they fix her color and arms for Ranger Slayer. Bare minimum her shade of Pink needs to be more accurate; Wasn't much of a fan of the Fushia Ranger.

The torso color impacts all the figures. I don't know why they can't get the same color. Are the two plastics reacting differently?

Though it really doesn't matter. Ranger slayer's torso is a black body base. It would be much easier to use black plastic(which is too dark to have the pigment issue) and apply pink paint. Maybe the upper thighs might be pink with black paint.

The left arm would need a new mold as well. Agreed they should fix this weird arm design with this figure.

It's not really a remold of mmpr pink. It's the standard LC female body. They can't even reuse the helmet.

I wonder if they would be a black blade blaster or would it be a black holster mode?

Has to come with the cape. That's a pretty big thing to leave off.
I hope the cape is detachable like MCU Mysterio(and I think the recent Doom).
Hard molded plastic capes are just a pain to me. I wish they'd use a more flexible material at least.

I agree with basically everything you said. Especially on the cape part. At the very least if they use a hard plastic cape/cloak but make it removeable, then I can atleast commission someone for a replacement. If it's not removeable that's just gonna be an absolute pain.

Hmmm...undecided if I'm gonna pick up Zeo Gold since I already have the SDCC version. I DID tell myself I'd get every single release from this line to support it.....I guess it'll be contingent on if the unmasked head is still Jason or if it'll be Trey of Triforia.

Really hoping the wait for Zeo Green isn't too long. One of the earliest Power Rangers toys I can remember having was the auto morphin Zeo Green so I'd love to have that.

Perhaps you could give it to someone as a present, or maybe buy it on behalf of someone who can't afford it?

I have no intention of getting every figure much less one that just has a variant head. I know some people want every box and variant ever made but that aint me.

A Trey head would not get me to buy gold ranger again especially when I got the Legacy versions as well.

I just hope Turbo Red is TJ and not Tommy. TJ is the definitive Turbo Red for me. I know it most likely won't be the case, but I can dream.

Well from a diversity standpoint the second Turbo team would be more desirable. At the very least another black red ranger vs the nth Tommy face.
