Such great finales this week! And the best part is, they all felt like proper season and series finales this time.

Tokyo Ghoul: Yeah, that's a proper season closer. Not mid-fight like the last one, which was so annoying. I loved the moment Kaneki and Hide had and how it played out. Spent the entire time thinking Kaneki was the one injured, which is why he was so silent, and then Hide falls... Overall just a satisfying conclusion to Kaneki's little rebellion of sorts, but I certainly can't wait to see what happens next (and hopefully it involves explaining what actually happened to Kaneki).

Log Horizon: Hope. Underlying theme of the entire season and the finale really exemplified it. There are still a lot of questions to be answered, but I'm more than ready to wait for them. I just find this show really fun to watch. Glad it ended on action too and not politics heh.

Durararax2: Weeeell... Yeah I am quite pleased to know we have two more seasons of this coming this year, even if they're all so separated. The Dollars twisting Mikado, despite them becoming what he didn't want (or did he secretly desire it?), was interesting to watch. How easily he snapped and returned to normal was shocking, but probably the best part.

Aldnoah.Zero: This entire season made up for the ending of the first and then some. I think that if viewed as a whole it might not be so bad. Only thing I wish had been shown in the conclusion was Lemrina's fate. I'm sure Asseylum wouldn't let anything bad happen to her, but I'd have still liked to see it. Slaine not getting the death escape he wanted was so satisfying (as was seeing him point to his eye for where Inaho should shoot).

That moment when Durararax2 leaves you off on a major cliffhanger...

Aldnoah.Zero ended rather weakly, while Log Horizon made me pumped for next season.

Garo ended rather well, as technically our heroes don't win, they just staved off a greater threat for a future Garo .

At least most of Aldnoah.Zero was worth the watch. Though I know a shipping friend who's going to be more pissed than me, and as evil as I am, that makes me laugh a little.

World break areia the curse of the holy swordsman ended. And it hiinted at another arc. I dunno if it will get second season but it war reall fun and enjoyable.

I didn't reach my goal of finishing FMA, but I did get to episode 42. And boy, if I had a nickel for every time someone lost a limb in this show...

And if I had a dollar for every time someone died in Hunter x Hunter, important or not, I'd be the richest man alive. Like seriously, heads are always flying off. :lol

Rewatching Berzerk, it's as great as I remember.

Finished the Happiness Charge Precure movie last night. Why couldn't the show be like this?!

Started watching Beast King Go Lion the other day. I've been craving some classic super robot lately, especially combining robot, so this is doing the trick. The only problem so far is the pacing, I generally have trouble getting into anime from the 80s and 70s, simple because the episodes have so much padding in them. I've gotten better at it since I started watching Sentai a lot, however.

Yatterman Night has hands down been the best show this season for me, and the best example of a "bad guys being the good guys" story I've ever seen. I hope more people check this show out so it can get the praise it truly deserves.

Rewatching Code Geass. Hopefully it'll hold me over until the final episode of Build Fighters Try is released so then I can go through it in one go.

I recommend people to go watch the first episode of Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma. Like right now. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS WAITING FOR?!

Finished my rewatch of season 1 of Code Geass. Now I can finally watch all of Gundam Build Fighters Try together. After that, I'll watch season 2 of Code Geass.

Food wars episode one. It's just as hoped for the anime adaption to be for food wars. It was just so mouth watering juicy.

While checking what shows were starting today that I want to watch (turns out it's just Fate/Stay Night) when I realized Yamada-kun had only 12 episodes planned. But... All previews and the OVA showed all 7 witches already... Their introduction and the first major arc took almost 100 chapters in the manga...

Which is either going to be obscenely condensed into 12 episodes... Or the anime is going to be all filler.

Either way, time to brace for disappointment. :(

Apparently the studio doing it is known for making sub-par works. Real disheartening.

Watched the first episode of Kirino Mosiac which is can describe as a moe slice of life with occasional English which ranges from surprisingly good to a tad awkward sounding but it does it better than most.

Also watched the first episode of Aikatsu which I will definitely continue watching as well, although I am not particularly fond of the 3d work.

Watched the first 3 episodes of Mazinkaiser dubbed love it especially as it addressed one of my biggest issues with the original series by not making Koji a sexist douchebag.

Sadly it didn't address the other as Sayaka and Aphrodite/Venus A are still useless.

...Why the fuck does Yamada-kun have only twelve chapters planned when there are more than 110 chapters out (probably even more!)...?! :cry The show should have received at least twenty-six episodes planned! That's such a disappointment... :(

I've never watched Cross Ange, but I've heard bad things about it. What's so wrong with this Cross Ange anime?

Imagine a mecha show with a nearly all-female cast. Now imagine that almost every one of them are lesbians. Now imagine the most over-the-top fanservice you could possibly have in a show as a result of that, and multiply it by 4. Finally, imagine that the parts that aren't fanservice are all ripped directly from either Gundam SEED or SEED Destiny. That's what I could discern from the 3 episodes I watched, at least.

Don't forget a scene that comes awfully close to fetishing rape.

Sadly I was looking forward to it as I've wanted a female lead mecha show for awhile now and liked Seed's artstyle.

And then the female lead turns out be an unlikable bitch and the show a lazy perverted pile of shit.
