So, I found some custom made beam effect parts designed for use with DBZ figuarts, and since I had SDCC Piccolo just lying around I bought a few. Since I bought 3 effects parts, but only have one DBZ SHF, I bought a couple more from Den-O.

The spiral part of the one is kinda disappointing, it's just hot glue that was laid down in that shape and then after it was dried put around the hard plastic core. It doesn't look as good as I hoped, but it looks alright. But not for what I paid for it (too much for the three).

I found some cheap acrylic rods I can buy, and clear paint is easy enough to find (I wonder if these are dyed though, rather than painted), I think I can make a few of these myself, which I'd really like to do, if I can figure out how he's molding the ends so consistently. Cuz he's charging a bit too much for me to consider buying more of them from him.

So since Bluefin is bringing over boukenger 2 pack. What are the chances they bring the Hurricangers over also? I'd rather not commit to a middleman if I don't have to.

Very likely. And I'm assuming since Red is getting Power Rangers packaging, the 2 packs will also.

I just hope Bandai announces a Sky Ninja Shurikenger/Green Samurai Ninja Storm Ranger at some point soon to complete the Hurricangers/Ninja Storm team.

I hate the idea of incomplete teams. Go-Busters looks to be one that won't be completed. Who knows with Boukenranger/Operation Overdrive if they'll do everyone. And Dekarangers is still missing DekaBreak, DekaMaster, and DekaSwan with no sign of them being made in sight.

I wouldn't mind if they left Dekaranger, left Hurricaneger and finished Jetman and Boukenger.
As cool as sixth rangers are, I prefer if they finished the core 5 of all the sets they've started. Only Red Hawk/Black Condor and BoukenRed/Blue/Black frustrates me.

Bouken Pink and Yellow have been shown so it's more than likely they're eventually coming, we just don't know when

Agreed. I can go without the Boukengers (although I want Silver), but finishing the Jetman is a must.

Sorry but Boukenger, Dekaranger, and Go-Buster completion top my current list. 6th's, powered up forms, and beyond. Luckily for Jetman, while I want the whole team, my favorite 2 have already been made.

It's hard to feel hopeful we'll ever get Beet, Stag and J though given they're the ones that haven't even been made as far as we know :(

Nope! Jetman are way more important then the others to me, especially power-ups. Kaori, Raita and Ako were all great characters and need Figuarts, like, yesterday!

Didn't Super Shinken Red sell terribly? I'd assume the SWAT and Accel would sell even worse, so i wouldn't think they'd be scrambling to release them and if they did, only release the Reds.

Yes, but I doubt how well that particular figure sold is that much of a factor when all of the figures we're talking about here are inevitably going to be Tamashii Web Exclusives.

Because she was part of the Earth SPD team and a main character even if her in-suit appearances were next to nothing, and I guess her getting the status of "extra hero" in Gokaiger adds to it.

I consider her a fully fledged Dekaranger, but I'm not holding my breath for a toy of her any time soon. I think if the suit didn't need to be a mostly new mould it'd have more chance of happening. Characters with less screen time and/or importance have had figures, but off the top of my head they've all been repaints.

Because Swan herself is a key member of the cast who appears in almost every episode of the series. So her 3 or so appearances as Deka Swan cement her as a true member of the team. Even in the final episode it shows off the entire earth team and she's included in costume. And in Dekarangers world every planet that's a part of that federation has a team of Dekarangers. So anyone whose a got an SP License is full fledged ranger.

I could do without Swan, honestly. If she is made, I'll get her, but the only other must haves are Brake and Master.

How well did Hyper Shinken Red sell, would that be a better comparison? I remember I got mine MISB for like $25, so I assumed it wasn't very popular.
But I don't know, I think the power-ups are (thankfully) not going to come anytime soon, they still have a lot more important stuff to get through before touching on them. I especially doubt that the whole SWAT team will see the light of day. Great designs, but having to rebuy the whole Deka team but with the same accessories across the board doesn't sound like it'd be a huge money-maker. Even I with my "must have everything" attitude would have trouble justifying the purchase.

With Deka Swan, yes I'd like her, but low priority to me. As I said before, finish the Jetman and core 5 Boukengers before delving into 6th rangers, extra heroes and power-ups for older seasons.

I got my RyuuRanger today and his head was attached to the body in the box. He looks awesome standing by my other 5 Figuarts though.

I bit the bullet and submitted an order for a Knight w/Darkwing that popped up on Mandarake (I've seen a few before that always disappear pretty quickly after being listed). Just received the confirmation email last night that it's in stock! I know it's possible it could get rereleased some day (it's the Ryuki Rider that could use one the most, considering Ryuki's been rereleased previously, it's how I own mine) but I went for it on a whim and now in about two weeks it'll be mine, and I'll own the "Core Four" Figuarts that offer so much bang for the buck (Ryuki, Knight, Zolda and I count Odin in that group as well). Coming with Darkwing makes me feel comfortable with paying the $70ish shipped price.

Is there a website or something that shows a release calendar for Figuarts so I can plan things ahead?

The whole *We Have Many Holiday In Japan* is why I get pissed when ordering from Nippon-Yasan & HLJ cause I have NO fucking clue how long my order will arrive. In Other Words, I'm STILL waiting for my Ryuu Ranger Figuart to arrive ;^;.

yeah, Nippon-Yasan has a tendency to delay packages on a 1-day delay basis during holidays so I might get between tomorrow & Friday of this week :L.

While I don't need any of the Shikengers anymore but Kaoru, where are you seeing these listings? I click on my saved searches two or three times a day and have never seen either of those listed in days.

What are you searching? I just search the series title rather then Figuarts in general. They go pretty fast, though.

I have. You pay the price of the item up front. They charge you shipping when it releases/ships. I got my Gokai Girls from Yokatta. And I currently have SIC Shauta ordered from there(because it was my last option)
