well ever since Toku World opened up for me on You Tube I've been seeing a lot of Rider stuff lately.

I've been watching first episode of all the Rider shows to start them up. I had just seen #1 on V3. I started the Ultra series line with the very first ever episode so that was cool. And the first Metal Heroes episode ever.

Super Hero Time may be a quad play for me next year with all 4 lines now running.

Also finished Dominion today. It was cool to see Alan , Ian and Ellie team up with the World pair for this. That was fun.

The new Gundam show is here and I'm pleasantly surprised by it. It's something different all right, and I'm definitely excited.

I was a (relatively new) Gundam fan when IBO came out way back when I was 13 years old so it definitely feels strange watching a new Gundam show at with such a different mental age (I'm 20 now). It's an interesting experience that's for sure.

That being said, I'm a bit scared if this show turns out to be yuribait after having heard about the harrassment a few spammers gave the Lycoris Recoil writers when it didn't end with yuri. Like, yeah, I get it that people like and don't like yuri and that's fine (personally, it's not for me but you know, different strokes for different blokes and all that), but if this show ends up being yuribait I fear the same situation might happen again, which could be troublesome. I'm most likely just paranoid though.

Anyways, new Gundam show that's not a Build series. Curious to see where it goes (and I'm already captivated by the Aerial's thighs).

I was very pleasantly surprised by the new episode. I've been watching UC Gundam and while I loved the OYW stuff, I've found the Zeta stuff a bit dry. The most recent I've seen is a few episodes of SEED back when it was still fairly new, so I don't know what the series has been up to lately :lol

I finished Inside Job recently over a month ago and I loved every moment of it. It's the only reason why I will keep my Netflix account. Reagan Ridley is probaly in my top 10 favorite female characters ever.

Now, I need to check out some other streaming shows that I've been meaning to watch like the new adaption of Bastard!!

Do what I did, watch "Iron-Blooded Orphans" first, stop midway through and never go back because a franchise that was willing to release this trainwreck of a show is not worth investing further time into.

Look I think we can all agree that if it were ever truly going to die, G-Savior or especially SEED Destiny should've been what killed it.

If it survived those, nothing is going to stop Gundam.

Yeah you're gonna need to tackle more than just 0079 for that. You've got 0079, Zeta Gundam (hope you like trauma!) a bit of ZZ just for full context of what happens next, and then Char's Counterattack. And that's just the stuff I remember, I think Origin and a few others have been added in the years since I was active.

Of course there's also 0080, which has nothing to do with Char's arc but is extremely near and dear to me as a military brat growing up when and where I did at the turn of the Millennium and the start of the GWoT.

The UC Gundam stuff is usally my thing. Stuff outside of that is hit or miss for me.

The new show is good?! I don't know anything about that, I just thinks mechs are neat. Like you, I'm also the big gay, but my tastes tend to be on the crazy and hotblooded side of things... Well, again, I have a Symphogear signature.

Cobra Kai is on break and having finished Jurassic VI Dominion I'll watch Camp Cretacious in the spring. Also Spy Racers. Fast And Furious 10 and 11 are the final 2 movies.

Jokes aside, outside of the original UC continuity, a lot of Gundam shows are in their standalone universe and require no background context. While UC mostly tackles the 'war is hell' message, other Gundam continuities tackle their own issue.

I recommend Wing and 00 if you want to watch about terrorists, SEED if you're into debates about genetical manipulation, Iron-Blooded Orphans if you're into child slavery and colonialism, G Gundam if you're into climate change and super robots, Turn A if you're into post-apocalyptic worldbuilding, Build Fighters if you're into kids playing with plastic toys, and AGE and G-Reco if you're into horrible dumpster fire plots.

Or you can watch SD Gundam where they (sometimes) abandon the sci-fi setting and just have cute sentient robots beating each other up with the power of swords and sorcery (I'm not joking, seach up SD Gundam Sangokuden).

The current show seems to be tackling transhumanism with a side dish of gay, so, y'know, have fun if you want to watch that.

If I can get into Kingdom Hearts, Fate, and Devil May Cry, I could get into Gundam.

If nothing more for the cool mechs.
