TokuNation - SH Figuarts & D-Arts (Non-Toku) Combined Discussion

No thanks to Amiami's awful customer service, I managed to get a Figuarts Mario that wasn't broken straight out of package and at the same time I picked up the Play Set A to go along with Play Set B. I really don't regret the purchase! I love having a little customisable mini level and it's great having the stand, even if I do think it sucks that they included it with Luigi but not Mario. I'm actually considering getting a second Play Set A in order to get a second Block Pole. Really sucks that it only came with one and there's none with Luigi or Play Set C either! Not sure why they're supplying Coins with literally every figure/set but don't give a second pole to hold up floating blocks (although now I type this I wonder if a normal Tamashii arm would work just as well, but I'm assuming they planned for that and made sure it wouldn't).

Also got Sailor Saturn. She's nice, although, in traditional non-Sailor Moon Sailor Moon Figuarts fashion, she's missing an obvious accessory: Chibiusa's Heart Crystal! It annoys me greatly that on the box it has her posed holding it out... With empty hands. Come on!

This seems like something that would go over so much better if Max Factory did it... Really seems random to me for Bandai to get the license for.

I remember it was reported that a new sequel to Digimon Adventure will begin in Japan in spring 2015. I do think figuarts of the first season is very likely. I can see Greymon being made into a figure since he's iconic, but would he work as a figuart? He's not humanoid, so maybe he can be a S.H MonsterArt instead. The other Digimon figures we got in Figuarts/D-Arts are humanoid characters expect for MetalGarurumon.

Although Lucario is, for the time being, the only Pokemon released under the figuarts name. So it could just be an oddity. But I think just to keep things streamlined they wouldn't want to release different characters across different lines, humanoid or not. We didn't get Moguera or Mecha Godzilla released under SRC for example, they're still MonsterArts.

I'm still hoping for Angemon/Seraphimon, Angewomon, Togemon/Lillymon & Zudomon. Some Dark Masters would be nice.
