Wow the action and feels this episode and i have to say; yes the Gundam Gusion is very much a Gundam and man is it a beast to behold. I also have to say people are going to start drawing strong parallels between McGillis Fareed and Treize Khushrenada as well as the interesting spot Kudelia find herself in as she feels useless while others see her as the key to their own ambitions really she's a girl with the best of intentions but really unprepared for the road those intentions lead her down. Also we meet Almiria who is cute. Really can't wait for next week. Gundam VS Gundam time!!!!

Lol… of course Akahiro’s long lost brother sits in the very next mobile suit that comes after them, 5 minutes after he first says the he had a little brother :lol

Oh man. And the Earth visit with the little girl which the dude is going to marry apparently… cringe meter was over 9000.

Other than that the episode was cool. Not much fighting, that’ll be done next week, but the story was nice to watch.

I looked at that as either it was an arranged marriage or the girl has an crush/obsession with him like a child of her age admiring a teen pop star.

It's an arranged marriage, they talked about this earlier, and she knows what that means. She prepares to be a wife.

I don't know, it just felt really unpleasant watching this scene.

I knew Masahiro was gonna be an enemy pilot the moment Akihiko talked about him, it was a predictable twist to be sure but the feels this episode.

It definietly gives me Kira/Athrun vibes but on a more personal level.

I think it will at some point. Whether it be through kickstarter, or our console gaming lord and savior Sony ponying up the cash to add to the PS4 repertoire, considering how much they've been giving out to make shit timed/exclusive recently.

If they haven't localized the first Gundam Breaker game they definietly won't do 3.

Having played the first one, it's pretty easy to navigate through the game as most of the menus are in English. The only thing you might need a translation for are the skills and equipable items but that's really about it. Plus PS4s are region free anyways...

If there wasn't a flaw with the left skirt armor that kept it from clipping on properly, this thing would be almost perfect. For a decade-old toy, this thing still holds up very well.

So Sony has been asking for requests for PS2 games to be rereleased on PS4. If you guys have a twitter, tweet out the Gundam PS2 games, sonce those are becoming harder to find and we can encourage. Namco Bandai to localize more Gundam games if they put up the old games and they do well.

Has anyone considered repainting the Gundam Gusion from IBO with Thor colours? I noticed it comes with a giant hammer and am thinking how one would go about making it look Thor-esque as well as detailing the hammer to look like Mjolnir. The MS also happens to have 6 circles on its chest just like Thor! lol. Or maybe repaint it in Iron Man colours and make a Thor-buster! I might have to give it a shot when Winter is over.

That could totally work. Personally though, I've always thought it looked more like the TF Prime version of Bulkhead. Complete with the Forge of Solus Prime.

Really liked building this kit. Love the layered approach Bandai is using for this series. Going to tackle the other suits first then attack the booster..... that thing is going to take a while.

Does it have a full inner frame?

None of the HGs have a full inner frame but what they did here was neat. Under the green shell is the torso that has all the molded details for the gun ports and vents, gives the upper body a good amount of weight. The only real pain with this kit were the horns... they're separate pieces instead of part of the head and had to hit a sweet spot to get them in almost lost one in the process.

So the arms and legs are just built like a normal HG?

You could probably just glue the horns in.

Oh once they're in they're fine it was just fitting them in the slots. The arms do have a frame to them. The worst for being hallow are the legs

No, but they give you an alternate arm piece in case you want to configure it to how he looked in the first episode.

Yup, mine's the 1/144 which comes with the shoulder pads and optional arm.

I figured it out now. The way the arm was posed combined with the fact that the red stickers were missing made me think that part of the backpack was the shoulder. Now it makes sense. :lol

I might end up painting it next year when the weather improves.

That's why I left all the stickers off on mine.

Seriously though, this is super exciting.

For those who don't know, the Extreme VS series is a long running series of really good Gundam 2v2 fighting games with really in depth mechanics. The PS3 games haven't gotten localized, but this Vita exclusive single player focused spin-off is.There's been speculation on a PS4 port of the last arcade game coming out soon , so if we can get this to sell, we can get a theoretical Maxi Boost PS4 localized too!

PLEASE BUY THIS GAME! I am putting my money where my mouth is and have money for a preorder already saved up. I know this isn't the mainline VS games and it's only for Vita, which is very niche, but please do it so we can get more Gundam games besides Dynasty Warriors Gundam. If you have a Vita, get it. If you have a Playstation TV, I think it's compatible. If you don't have a Vita, maybe get it for someone next year who has a Vita but has no idea about this game.
