It seems to be like the first Sonic movie, perfectly adequate to me. That being said Chris Pratt is the *only* Mario actor on this movie who doesn't go for a Martinet impression at all and I hope he rightfully gets mocked over it

The Super Mario Brothers animated movie has great looking animation. However my expectations are still super low considering it’s from Illumination. They don’t have the best track record for movies.

Didn't Minions 2 do pretty well with positive reviews when it came out? Although I do understand skepticism at Illumination.

It seemed to me that there was more of a "so bad it's good" situation.

I own all the Despicable Me movies so I may see them first.

Now... I like Chris Pratt. But it honestly sounds like he wants to go full Mario, but is holding back, while simultaneously sounding like the New York Plumber Mario, or at least to me. Maybe it's not enough to justify just yet, but I feel like someone else could have worked better.

Heck, earlier I was joking around that this would be like the Santa Clause where he just gradually becomes more Mario. Ha ha!

Anyway, looks great, but I don't think is anything spectacular. And I'm more concerned about Illumination messing it up (I've heard it's rumored to be a musical) than I am about Mario's voice.

Cosmic Fury will pull an MMPR II stunt with Zords and monster bosses from Kyu. The rest will be made from the ground up so we'll see if Cosmic Fury can avoid being a cheap knock off. Hasbro is building Cosmic Fury from the ground up other wise including morphed uniforms. I do wonder if the Morphin' Masters will be in Kyu morphed uniforms or we may also see a 2nd set of US exclusive morphed outfits.

I bring this up because Jetix did it for Jungle Fury with the bat , shark and elephant Rangers.

The Cosmic Fury outfits made me think of Time Force as the core 5 had a similar design on their outfits minus the stripes.

Not entirely from scratch. They left behind the Ryusloger helmets, which I think is the hardest part of the costumes. In general, from the pictures, the costumes themselves are good, but worse than the original costumes of the ryusolgers and kyurangers.

Which is why I'd rather they went with the Kyu morphed outfits.

I agree with you here. I'm not a Power Rangers person, but the new suits were pretty rubbish. I appreciate the desire to experiment with the format but maybe they should've put a bit more thought into making these things.

I don't know if King Kong counts as a tokusatsu franchise (I'd imagine it does?) so I'm not gonna put this in the funny toku images thread, but I thought this was too hilarious not to share.

Try as I might, I cannot hate this.

For some reason this is making me think of Zyu O's Red Ranger.

I had an amazing day yesterday.

1. Several people called me pretty today.

2. I had my first girls day out today at a pride event with an online group. It was amazing to meet so many nice women. The gender euphoria is over the roof.

3. Also, my Lyft rider was like ?I almost thought you were a man for a second?. It?s been a great day

4. My bra size is now 48 B. They don?t feel or look big.

I did :). I went to the pride event in Howard County and it was a lot of fun. I meet up with a group of women and it was nice to be in a nerd cricle that is not so male driven.

Wake up with a toothache, get to the end of a day with a frontal headache. And they say your 20's are your best years, huh?

Toothaches can lead to a lot of other pains. I once left a tooth issue untreated for a while and it got unbearably bad, once I got it fixed all sorts of problems went away for me (headaches, stress, insomnia). Take care of your teeth!

Don't worry, I booked a dentist appointment for a week away! The pain's subsisded for now, so it might not have been anything, but you're right, better safe than sorry.

Sure, thanks for your concern. It's not as scary as it seems, at least for me and my loved ones. I just want to return to normal life or at least some stability. To be honest, I'm already starting to miss quarantine.
