still, it made me really fed up with comics when I saw TONS of people yelling "DOCTOR OCTOPUS [R-word]ED MARY JANE!" when it was just extreme lying.

They never had an intimate relationship though. They went on a date once I believe and then Otto got annoyed by her.

Not even close, MJ and Otto had one date, nothing happened.
The "rape" controversy was over a whole different character, and it was a consensual realtionship between Ock and a girl that had never ever met Peter and was genuinely in love with Ock.

Seriously? People complained about Anna and Ottos relationship? That was the best part about the whole book!

Yeah, a large portion of people hated it, then again a lot of people hated Superior on virtue of hating it.

Thats stupid.

I´m still mad about how they ended their storyline. Seeing how Otto acts in Spider-Verse I really wish they would find a way to bring him back into the MU after Secret Wars to coexist next to the Amazing Spider-Man.

Really, I think Superior Spider-Man Team-Up was the superior Superior Spider-Man book.
