And I'm now done with all of the subbed episodes. |

So while I haven't gotten that far yet (I'm still on episode 5), I saw an opening for the later episodes of Dairanger. And I have just one question...
is White Ranger a kid? |

Yeah don't let his first appearance fool you, Kou is an excellent character.

Ah alright. I haven't gotten there yet. I just found it weird seeing a tiny White Ranger in a later opening, as well as one of his first changes. It made me think "Good lord not PR Turbo again!" hahaha.

Finally got around to catching up on Go-Busters (again; something about this show makes it easy for me to fall off of weekly viewings). The last few episodes were really good. Enter has pretty much catapulted himself to being one of the all-time great Sentai villains. The stuff with Escape was good, too; her story took a very dark and tragic turn. I'm almost starting to think I might miss this show when it's all over.

Abaranger episode 3:
It was pretty good. I like the combination sequence (and how it's not fast forwarded like in Dino Thunder). I wish Skewed Studios had more than just up to episode 10 subbed, because they're about on par with TV-Nihon. What is up with that girl? First she has glowing green eyes and talking in a weird voice, then her eyes go normal and she's all like "yay monsters!" Speaking of monsters...what the heck? A lion...explosives...and a dandelion? I...I don't know. Ryouga had some good moments the parts when Tyranno sent him flying and when he was on the huge ball were pretty funny. AbareBlue (I forgot his name)...at first he was like "no, forget you guys. I don't want to be a part of his", then he's like "well...I don't have a choice". It does seem a bit too quick to have him be like "ok, I'm staying" but he's not saying "yeah! Abarangers forever!" So I guess it's alright. To me, the characers seem more interesting than Dino Thunder. Dino Thunder had 3 teenager stereotypes: the nerd, the girls who's in a band, and the jock. Whereas here we have: an dude who adopted his niece, a chiropractor, and a delivery girl? I do like how wacky Ryouga is though. |
Rije (the girl) is the host body for the Evolrians' god Dezumodoria.
