Not sure, are the Gridman wrists like Figuarts ones with noticeably smaller balls for the hands to pop on?

Here's a random question. I want to get the Figuarts Blade King Form, but it's an exclusive and so it'd cost me a little more than $60 to just buy it upfront now. That said, I also wanted the Figuarts Phoenix (Phantom) who was also an exclusive but chose to wait it out. Eventually I found him on Mandarake for cheaper than I would have paid for him otherwise. I suppose at the end of the day it's always a risk, but what do you guys think, will King get cheaper on Mandarake later on or will he just get higher in price like some exclusives do?

Something that might be worth noting is that the regular Figuarts Blade is for some reason currently 6000 yen on Mandarake. I don't know exactly if there's a correlation, but in general, if one release of a series is popular, will the others, especially one that's an exclusive, be even more expensive? I think a good example of this would be Ryuki, where the Ryuki Figuarts exclusives are exceptionally expensive. So based on this, it seems like King form would just get even more expensive.

So I guess my question in short is, assuming one wants to buy Blade King, buy now, or buy later?

Hey, new member here. Quite new to collecting s.h figuarts as well.

I need some advices from the more experienced collectors, there is a Ryuki Dark Wing that I am interested in buying for roughly £54 or 86usd.

What I would like to know is if it's worth buying, seller says that he opened it to check the figure and accessories so apparently 95%~ new.

Also, would yous reckon this figure would be reissued since Ryuki got a reissue?

That all depends on a couple of factors. Such as how bad you want it and how patient you are. If you like to get things sooner rather than later and he's also on your must have list, buy now. If you enjoy a design enough, you probably won't mind paying a little more. If it's a lower priority figure, you can probably afford to wait.

Reissue or not, that's still kinda pricey. There's still one here for $50 before shipping.

Ultra-Act wrists are different at least in size. But as I said the Metal Hero figures feature much smaller and fragile wrist pegs than the other tamashii lines.

Maybe you can use putty to make a new balljoint?

That price of 54gbp or 85usd would in a way be like item plus shipping, would this price still be considered expensive for this figure?

Oh. I suppose that sounds okay. That's not too bad, but not a particularly good deal either. But all of the Ryuki figures are pretty stellar, so I'm sure it'd be worth it for you if you want it enough.

Let's say time isn't of the essence and I don't mind waiting. Do you think that Blade King form will eventually be cheaper than just over $60 (with shipping included)? Like I mentioned with the Ryuki exclusives, they're expensive and don't seem to be getting any cheaper any time soon, and I doubt they ever will. So with that said, how do you think the price for Blade King form will be. Would it be one of those exclusives on Mandarake that get to 8000 yen or higher, or would it be the other kind that's sub 4000 yen.

Personally, I have a feeling he'll get even more expensive, but I'm quite interested in what others think as well before making a choice of what to do.

And btw, I had no idea there were still any Knight's out there at a fairly affordable price. Hm... I guess the question is how likely a reissue would be at this point...

I was able to secure Zero renewal for myself, and Zero, Ultra Father, and Glen Fire for Den-O, missed Agito and Delta

Managed to nick an Agito myself and got a Sanji Figuarts Zero along the way as well.

A little disappointed with this months releases, 2 new releases, 1 renewal and 2 reissues seems quite lacklustre. Not even 1 sentai releases as well.

You know which ones get expensive? the ones that no one is interested in or think they'll find it cheaper later etc. No one orders it from Tamashii Web and then suddenly they are in short supply.

Slightly annoyed that there was no sentai s.h figuarts, so hoping there will be some coming later even if it's exclusive.

Web exclusive preorders tend to come whenever, but even if they do put some up this month you'd still be looking at a February/March release date for whatever it is so there's not really any rush.

Got my Agito too, got everything I wanted now (that, Zero, Godzilla). Off to bed soon. Yay, mission accomplished.

I am most looking forward to getting Agito, I've never watched the Agito series before, but, the design looks too sexy to not pre order. The metalic look it has lead to me putting it on my must get list.

How many versions of kamen blade is there? I see the prices on mandarake ranging from 6000yen to 8000yen, but, currently in hong kong I've seen it go for around 250hkd ( about £21 and 34usd)

From what I have seen the prices of the s.h figuarts seems to be based on the Japanese market.

For Figuarts? Right now, just the one. King Form is coming later this year as an exclusive and I imagine more will follow. I have noticed the high prices on Blade on Mandarake as well; they've mostly come in at 6000 yen but tonight I did see a new one listed at 8000 yen, which surprised me.

I'm surprised about the increase in price as well considering it came out not too long ago as well.
I'm more surprised that they are selling Blade for about 260hkd in hong kong though, the pricing seems to depend on the japanses prices according to many sales and owners of toy shops.

Im pondering whether to buy Blade for roughly 260hkd or Knight and Dark Wing for about 600hkd.

You're better off just waiting for the Bluefin release this month (or is it next month?).

I am from the UK, so, shipping to me from US will probably cost almost the same as the figure itself plus import tax etc.

Really can't decide, I want Knight more but it is too expensive especially I've already spent almost 2000hkd on figures.

There's the normal release which everyone is getting, but a Japanese department store called Aeon also had an exclusive effects piece that is basically just a card:

The ones with the card are the super expensive ones.

Overall though it seems as if they didn't expect the demand for Blade to be as huge as it was. It's coming up on its ten year anniversary so maybe that factors in.
